    'Morning everyone :hello:

Not getting much chance to get onto OS at the moment, but I am maintaining the OS lifestyle. Did a huge batch of bolognese sauce in the slow cooker at the weekend. So lots of meals in the freezer. Also went to the farmers market and added diced lamb and some lovely sausages to the freezer store. Made a double batch of dried apples and more yoghurt.

Breakfast: oats, fruit & HM yoghurt. Glass of orange juice
    Lunch: salad and an apple
    Dinner: Spagetti Bolognese

    Have a lovely OS day
Enjoying an MSE OS life :D

    Hello all

Short post this morning as I have work to do. Ex emailed me last night, he's been ill for a week, so therefore no contact.

Woken up at seven this morning by my cousin's friend....who is now homeless so needs somewhere to stay. How can I say no? The difficult thing is working out how to split the costs three ways. At present the outgoings total (including bills) £600 a month, but I only charge my cousin £200. This guy/gal (long story) will be living in the lounge so I'm not sure what to charge... I guess my electricity bill etc. will be going up so erm, thinking of £160 each, does that sound reasonable? ooh decisions.

Look at me typing away...so much for a short post!

Forgot about my hand this morning, when the alarm went off I used it to lean out of bed - oww!!

Off to Trago Mills today, a very OS shop :)

    Catch you all later x

Not read the thread yet, saving that for later when I'll need the rest but I wanted to post so I'd remember to read this thread later :p

Hope everyone has a good day, I've got to go into town today and buy DD waterproofs, leggings, wellies and a few other bits as SIL rang OH yesterday (I just love the way they ask me these things.. ) and asked if DD could go camping with the IL's at the weekend. The thing is, she's just had a growth spurt so NOTHING thats suitable to go camping fits her. I don't mind as I was going to get her some for when she was supposed to be going camping in the summer with them, I'll just have to use the credit card this time though as I haven't been paid yet and I need to get the stuff ASAP otherwise I won't have a chance to wash it and waterproof things ;) Problem is that DD doesn't know what is happening, all she knows is that she may have a surprise at the weekend so I need to get all this stuff and air her sleeping bag without her noticing :wall:

Better be off - need to wash her face before school

    Morning all

After yesterdays meeting in Macclesfield, I eventually arrived home at 2 mins to 9.......

Then as car went for MOT and service yesterday (and failed:mad: ) still I knew it would but it's £200 worth of fail  still at garage today so OH dropped me off to get the tram this morning at 06:50 so I am feeling really tired today, plus my eyes are telling me that the pollen is up

Glad you had a better night PP. Must be a good feeling when you have had problems sleeping for such a long time.

HAd a V. quick look at yesterdays posts and someone (Sorry, don;t remember who it was  ) asked about the pizza dough recipie.
The one i did was for HM not in the BM. I don't have this with me now but I think it was something like
    1Ib Strong BM flour
1 1/2 tsp quick action yeast
    1tsb salt
    2tbsp olive oil
    350ml (?) Warm water.
As I said, don't quote me on it, I will try to update when i get home tonight!

Elona - great news about your dad. It's amazing what meeting a new bunch of people can do to you!

    Breakfast - Apple
Lunch - cheese and pastrami and potted meat
Tea - not sure should be at mum's!

    Have a good one all

PP - glad the new pills are working & you got a nights sleep
ageandjo - I read the flylady stuff, but don't follow the emails rigidly.
nicki - hope your DD has a good weekend & that you are able to get things sorted out for it!
everyone else - hi to you too!

It's not raining (at the moment) Looks like I can get some washing out, yippee:j :j
DS was expecting a visit from his friend today, but I have just had an email to say the friend isn't coming, so he will be disappointed in a minute when I tell him. Never mind, there's lots of work he can do (not sure that will make him feel better:rotfl: :rotfl: )
I got a replacement memory card for my camera this morning, only sent the dud one off last week. It had suddenly stopped working, so from being able to take over 100 photos, I could suddenly only take 7. I had to buy another card (on ebay so quite cheap), so knew it wasn't the camera. Anyway, Fuji have replaced it free so now I have 2 cards.

    Have a good day!

Sitting here with toast and tea having only just got up.....bliss.

You know that really comfy spot in the bed, the one you only find when the alarms gone off??? Well I found it this morning and refused to move from it....DH got DD's ready for school and dropped them in on his way to work - he even washed up before he left..:T

I actually feel ready to tackle the day now, loads to do this morning, working this afternon for a few hours.

Brekkie - Don't know about the rest of them but I'm having toast!
Lunch - Again - not sure what they've got but I'll have fruit.
Dinner - Just got a huge vat of HM tomato soup from the freezer - will make rolls later.

The sun's shining here this morning but with the WM broken there's not much hope of having anything billowing in the breeze. Must clean out the parrot and finish the ironing though.

Hugs all round. Have a great day.

    Morning!:hello:

Hope everyone ok today (speciallly little Kyle)

Cheesy feet turned out ok yesterday, would look very cute on a cheeseboard! I bought a set of cookie cutters and am debating making some cute caterpiller cookies next time. I also got a bone shaped cutter so might make up some doggy biscuits for my friends doggy.

Mushpeas Trago Mills! fantastic fun! I used to shop at the Falmouth Trago Mills and still have some of the many bargains I picked up. Managed to recover my kitchen stools with some lovely fabric in their sale basket, only 80p! Have a lovely time!

Elona So glad your Dad has perked up a bit! It is amazing what a difference it makes to have nice people on the ward with you to chat to!

PP Glad you had a good nights sleep, it makes all the difference doesn't it!

Applemint Your posts are encouraging me to cook ahead and freeze some meals for later in the week, thank you.

Catowen Not long now to Orlando! Are you excited yet?

Nikki Our kids loved going camping, ah happy memories!

Breakfast - HM Muesli and apple juice
Lunch - HM Cream of veg soup (using up leftover veg before organic box turns up tomorrow)
Dinner- italian garlic sausages and mash (got to get these used up as they have such a powerful smell even from the depths of the freezer) No vampires near us for a while :D :rotfl:

    Have a lovely day!

    Morning all!

After a few miserable days of rain, the sun is shining here. Hurray!

Another day at w**k - booooo..... I am taking my ECDL advanced word processing at 11.30am so I should really reading the material or doing a mock exam or something. I don't do much word processing, I'm more of a spreadsheet girl myself so it isn't like second nature to me. Oh well, I'll just have a go. What's the worst that can happen?

I'm trying to lose a bit of weight. Over the last year I have put on a stone in weight. I am also approaching 40 (well, a year or so to go but it is looming on the horizon.) so I don't want to start getting middle-age spread. I have decided to do the Rosemary Conley thing, with low-fat eating. It seems healthier than Atkins and GI is too complicated. With OH working away now I don't want him to come home to a progressively chubbier girlfriend each week. I'd rather he came home and noticed how svelte I am looking......well I can dream!

    B: Muesli
L: Ham salad with rice cakes
D: Poached salmon with boiled potatoes & veg/salad

Work is busy but it is nice to have welcomed back a colleague who has been away on maternity leave. She is lovely and it is so good to have her back, she makes a difference to the atmosphere in the office.

I got a call from Akela at cubs last night to say DS has been 'boisterous' and could I have a word with him? He has been a good boy for ages so I was a bit disappointed in him. Still, boys will be boys.

We are still waiting to hear if our offer on the Welsh house has been accepted. Hopefully it will fall nicely into place so that OH can move in as I finish work, so I can help him furnishing and decorating it. Is it too much to ask to have completed a house purchase by the end of June?

I had a great result when I called Telewest to see if I could get a cheaper deal. Check out the thread on the telephones board about Telewest/NTL. My bill is now £19 per month cheaper. Well worth doing.

Right, must go and do some ECDL practice!
