    Morning everyone,
Just a quick post from me as I have to go out.
Last night I went to see Take That in Manchester, it was fantastic :j :T
I didn't really like them that much when they were around about 10 yrs ago (I was 14 and didn't think they were very cool!!) but last night they were great. I bought a T-Shirt too, but my mate accidentally took it home, so will have to pick that up this afternoon.
Today I have to go to the tip, then go to the DIY shop to get things ready for the plasterer on Tuesday. Will also be getting some big garden sacks to get rid of some garden rubbish. Then will be watching the play off this evening - Leeds v Watford.
I'd better go, need to get my Rs in gear.

hello everyone, i'm new too. just wanted to say thank you in advance for all the wonderful advice that I'm sure i'll get on this board.

Nice lazy day today, still haven't had a spot of breakfast in me yet. just up and about and trawling the MSE boards (which are quite addictive - I've only started posting yesterday).

contemplating a nice brunch now. read somewhere about tuna and hummous, what a wonderful idea!! is there anything special in there or is it just what it says - tuna and hummous :D

hope the rest of the day goes well for everyone. i don't have any children, just a little lovely dog (in avatar), so walkies are in order! but it's sooooo cold outside, even doggy is at the minute curled up in duvet.

Hello everyone. Really quiet in the house at the mo, DH DD and DS have gone camping for the weekend to sunny (not!) Wales. So no tele no radio and no screaming kids. It's so peaceful, but I'm not sure I could deal with it for too long. However, I've taken the opportunity to spring clean the bathroom, landing and stairs and living room. That's it for cleaning though, I'm just going to chill for the rest of the day. Having said that, don't you feel guilty just sitting down or is it just me who feels like that?

I wasn't going to bother logging in as I was only going to be on here for a few minutes. Then read your post twink and I've had to log on to see Kyle's avatar!! They're beautiful boys, makes me nostalgic for when my 4 boys were that age! ( All grown up now) Having bothered to log on I shall now stay on for ages, so hope you feel responsible for my undone housework etc!!!:rotfl:

    Afternoon all

Quick post from me today before I dash out of the house (Memorial for all those that died at the hospice over the last few months where dad died)

Nasty weather here today - rain rain rain.

Made choccie brownies yesterday and banana and sultana bread. Just got 2 wholemeal loaves in the oven and some pizza dough ready for tea.

Decided that I need to sell some stuff on ebay to help fund our holiday, just have to work out now what will sell and make lots of money

Anyway, best dash, have to pick mum up on the way.

Have a lovely day - what's left of it
    Take care

  • Hi all.

A vey wet and soggy day here. Got absolutely soaked through yesterday. My DD10 and I are in the Scout Band and we did a parade in our local town centre with 6 Pipe Bands. It all sounded fantastic, although very wet!!!!

Not much happening today. Popped out earlier to see my dad who has just got back from his holiday, and is looking very tanned.

WM has been on and hung out, other than that a very lazy day.

    Have a good one.
