Morning Everyone:T ((hugs)) to everyone, whether neede dor not, cos a hug is always nice;)
Nice to see people up & about & enjoying the peace of sunday.
Well, I have answered my ebay questions (why are so many people in the USA interested in a bundle of used tesco baby clothes?), hung the nappies out in the lovely sunshine & am enjoying my 2nd cup of coffee:p
Today after church I am going to finish painting a HUGE rainbow in Spuds room, I'll try & post a piccie of it when I'm done. Only one stripe left to do but have decided to add a sun & a raincloud too, and to write the colours on each stripe so that we can sing the song together:D so need to just get some black poster paint but that's all it will have cost as hubby rescued all the rest of the poster paint from the bin at work:D
Hubby has to go into work this afternoon to host a guided walk around some heathland so Spud & I might go with him if the weather is nice. About the only way I'm going to see hubby this week as he has soo much work on:rolleyes:
Is anyone a rice pudding expert? The last 3 I have made have all seperated??? I am making it the same as I always do, measured milk, sugar & rice brought up to boil then transfered to the oven for about 2 hours. Sometimes I add a layer of tinned fruit at the oven stage but it has always worked perfectly in the past? Tesco:rolleyes: pudding rice, granulated sugar, fresh full fat organic milk & a knob of organic butter? Suggestions on a post card please:o
B : porrige
L : sandwiches & salad
D : lamb casserole

Oh, ok ... well perhaps don't put quite so many on the baking tray?
As for freezing bread pudding, yes, you can.
Postcard for Lillibet - I'm no "expert", but I don't boil mine first, simply put the ingredients into a buttered dish in the bottom of the oven, sometimes giving it a stir during cooking.
somo1 - ooooh, luck lass!! :T I really lurved my dolls house as a young girl (nothing fancy, but it was my escapism, especially after my father died. Was well cheesed off when my brothers used it to built the bonfire one Guy Fawkes night) I have two now and no one, no-one(!) is allowed to move them without my permission
Yes, do let us know how the waffle making turns out, best of British

Shez-Regarding Ebay. Ive been selling on and off on there for about 4 years:eek: A paypal account you open with your email address and you can choose to add a credit card etc. I dont actually accept Paypal as a payment option as their fees are so high but do pay other people with it;) In exceptional circumstances I will accept but normally stick to cheques or postal orders. My items arent high priced items but things like clothes grown out of, items i know longer like etc. I put all the money into a seperate account and only use it for other things we need-so sell items to buy new ones IYSWIM. That way we never really have to pay anything towards new clothing etc. PM me if you want to know more or can stick you on my MSN account
Sorry to hear about your daughter. Its horrible when our brats arent well!
Funkyfairy-If you get to Ikea early enough, have one of their cooked breakfasts for 99p:D there delicious and OH normally gets 2:o
Hugs to all.

Morning.
Its a cool day, but not raining here today. Woohoo. We had a 'house' day yesterday. DH did the cleaning while i got on with some school bits, and then we watched a film together (50 first dates) which we really enjoyed. DH also did all the cooking, so it was productive.
Sounds like i missed a dramatic day here with all the comings and goings. I certainly don't envy anyone who has to revise this weekend. One of my biggest joys is telling other people they need to do it.But my pupils don't really listen.
Woke up at 5:40 this morning with bad cramp in my arm, another pregnancy side effect??? I managed to stay in bed till 7:30, but then get up and have done a few internet bits as i didn't even switch the 'pooter' on yesterday. Have already had one breakfast of wheetabix, but DH is currently making me a 2nd one of bacon and eggs. I suppose i'll just have some fruit this afternoon, and then a shepherd pie this evening with lots of veg to make up for it. My exciting bit of news is that i think i can feel the baby moving around. It's like a rumbly tummy, but lower down.
DH also tried to fix his car yesterday as he has another slow puncture. But didn't make it to the shop on time.
Another day of school work today for me ready for the inspection, and I'll have to see if i can persuade DH to try and tame the jungle otherwise known as our garden before one of the cats is attacked by a wild animal again. :rotfl:
Breakie 2 is almost ready, so i need to clear the table. Will maybe pop back in later.

Good morning everyone,
Proud mum alert......... DSs team won their tournement yesterday!!!!! And DS scored two goals!!!! It made up for the horrible day that it was, it was incredibly windy (a cold wind at that) and was very showery, but the boys all enjoyed it, and have now won both the tournements they were in, and didnt lose a match at all!!! His coach was so excited when they won, he jumped up, fell over and hurt his back!!!! Never mind, im sure he will be fine. They are being given a week off training, and there isnt a match next week, so that will be quite nice for us mums!!!
A nice day here, have my friend and her new chap coming over for lunch so im doing a roast chicken, and will be nice as her son will play with my two, and we can relax with a nice glass of wine (and maybe some chocs!!!) Mind you, the weather is dreadful, its is tipping down so will be nice to stay home.
Right, off for my shower, hope everyone has a lovely day
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0
