    Morning folks

Just a very quick post as off to work in a minute.

Working today until one but no plans for the afternoon as yet

Feeling a bit sickly this morning. Just hope it doesn't come to anything.

Yesterday I made bolognaise mince in the slow cooker for the first time and it was divine. Dunno why I have never thought of making it in that before. Made enough for 5 x 2 people portions to be frozen. Hubby doesn't like mince so don't need any for him - infact there is not much he does like!

Gonna go just now but may pop back later.

    Have a great Saturday.

    Good morning everyone,

Just a quick one from me today, DS has another football tournement today, we had thought they would call it off, as it was horrible here yesterday (one of those nights when you go to bed, and can still here the rain beating against the bedroom window!) but they said they would wait until after 9 this morning, and so far it is lovely (although the ground is wet) so looks like another day of football for us!!!! I hope they do as well as last week!
Im also meant to be doing a mystery shop today, but i havnt been able to print out my paperwork (their end, not mine) so unless it lets me in the next half an hour, im going to have to miss it, but cant be helped!!!
Well, thats all for this morning, hope everyone has a lovely day.
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Hi Lisa,

Take things slowly and if you don't feel good take the day off, but if you think it might help to go in and see other people (if they are nice) then maybe go in, and if necessary leave early, if they'll let you. Good luck with your day though.

    ((hugs))

Morning all - Hugs to all that need them

Catowen - Rather you than me with the football this early in the morning..

It's blue skies and bright sunshine here but a force 8 wind is blowing in off the channel - it's amazing how it drops the temperature.

Went out for dinner last night with friend from Germany, DH and DD's - food was lovely, all came home for few more drinks and coffee - feeling a bit delicate now.

No OS plans for today - DD's are going to stay with their Dad tonight - first time in 6 years he will have had them overnight but as he lives in London DH would rather drive them there and pick them up, so that will be the extent of our weekend.

Want to run the hoover round but I'm the only one up and it would be unfair of me to wake them all..........wouldn't it?

    Have a great day all.

cat - good luck at footie :D

Pooky - nah, don't hoover yet, but not because others are sleeping, but out of kindness to your delicateness this morning ;)

Murtle - best of luck with your 800 words ;):D The 'off' switch is a cute little accessory which came with the computer, I don't have the excuse to keep it one for an essay, so I really should extend my arm and ... (it's going to hurt, isn't it :o:( .... )

    Morning everyone :hello:

Pooky - hoovering? My OH does that......... sometimes ;)

PP - glad you slept alot better last night. Sorry, don't know what to suggest for the grease mark. How about just putting some Vanish (or your normal detergent) on it to soak and then washing it normally?

Queenie - well done for using the "off" switch. Unfortunately, I don't know where mine in ;):D

I really enjoyed The Da Vinci Code last night. I was excited about the amount of shots of Lincoln Cathedral in it! They didn't even try to cover up the fact that it wasn't Westminster Abbey, which is what is was supposed to be!

We're not going to have a very OS day today. We're spending the weekend with friends near Grantham and going up to Lincoln to get OH's ushers (people we're spending the weekend with) booted and suited for the wedding (or at least get them measured up...........). Whilst there we've got to sort out our wedding rings. The place where we got my engagement ring made (far cheaper than buying a new one!) is giving us a 20% discount. It's such a lovely jewellers and the owners are so helpful - unlike some of the others that we tried.

Tonight our friends are doing a barbeque come rain or shine, so it should be quite nice in all!

Well, I'd better go and get ready!

    Morning all

(((Lisa))) & also (((everyone else))) 'cos you're all lovely:D

Not sure what to do with my day today. Hubby came home from work at midnight & left again at 5am today, and I don't ecxpect him back before 9 tonight:rolleyes:. It's silly season (for about 10 days) so need to keep Spud & myself occupied & provide sustaing food which will keep for hours in the oven awaiting hubbys sporadic returns:p. Of course, I have no plan in place for either! No idea what to do for dinner & no idea what to do with Spud & I:confused: (there's only so many times you can feed the ducks in a week). Need to keep costs to a bare minimum ....suggestions on a postcard or just a post please!:rotfl:
