Mornin all, wet and miserable here for me too but its friday so that can only be a good thing! Going to colect my first ever item from freecycle today quite chuffed as normally by the time I see the offer it is long gone - its a pince baby changer unit. OK so I'm not actually preggers yet, but hopefully wont be long and its not often you see someone giving away one of those!
Tonight for tea I am making my hubbie reheat the tea I made for him last night that he "didnt feel like eating" (I work nights of thursdays) haha I am so cross that will teach him! If he is sufficiently mnice to me I might find him a beer from my secret stash to wash it down with.
Smokey - enjoy your trip and I hope you feel a little better when you wake up again later.
Purple Princesss - I liked the sound of your lunch, any humous left for me please!
Nutty Rockerness / BgnRzzl - I like to think of myself as a superefficient fantastic office person but the truth is I am sat here at work on MSE!!!
Have a nice weekend all xxxMe debt free thanks to MSE :T0 -

I got some Molton Brown freebies recently, including a Eucalyptus and Ginger body scrub, which is absolutely fantastic! see HERE
There is no massage oil but as I always bring Olbas oil with me when I go walking I've had a go at experimenting, mixing that with some ginger extract and it has been helping. do go easy on the Ginger though (and be very careful where you use it)
That said, I'm really stiffening up here (got a good 4 hours walking this morning but the rain got through every inch of clothing) so am off to indulge.
:wave:My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead
Proud to be a chic shopper

Afternoon everyone
Just a quick one before I take DS2 to pre-school. Been a busy bee today. Gerbils have been played with intheir play area whilst I cleaned their cage out. They have moved house - well, their cage is now in DS2's room, but they wll have the excitement of going betweent he boys rooms from time to time. I need to thoroughtlu clean dining room this afternoon now.
Been to Tesco's and got last bits and pieces plus all the cans and chocs for Mr TM's cadets that I couldn't get yesterday. Our hall now looks like a teenagers dream - hundreds of cans of pop and choccy bars to last a month(not my idea of heaven tho)
WM is on altho it's raining so it will go in TD. DW has been on as has BM. Tea will be something simple like sausage or fish and chips. I still have lots to do for DS2's party tomorrow and as I have a friend coming round for a drink tonight, won't have time then.
Ok, must dash. Hope you all have a good day and if I don't see you over the weekend, cos of the various birthdys and parties etc, have a good weekend too

Hello all
I've not been on for a little while as I have been very busy at w**k and have been helping my dd by babysitting my dgs.
Anyway last night I fell and I have done a Wayne Rooney and fractured my 5th metetarsal in 2 places so my foot is in plaster. So it looks like no work for 6 weeks as I can't drive there.
The good part is that I will be at home to make sure my ds does his revision and gets off to his GCSE exams on time, it is his last day today at school. I can't believe how fast this has gone.
Anyway going to have a sleep as the pain killers they have given me are making me sleepy.
Take care everyone

Afternoon everyone:hello:
Well, Spud is asleep for his afternoon nap & I think I might join him! Damn obsessive-viewing big brother is back which means weeks and weeks of late nights as, try as I might, I just cannot stop watching it.
Not much of an OS day here as we have been out all morning, got Chinese food leftover from a freinds birthday on Wednesday night for dinner tonight so will have a lazy one with that & a bottle of wine catching up with lastnights video taped episode of Greys Anatomy before tonights BB:rolleyes:
Due to Hubbys work  c**king up the shift rotas he will be working l-o-n-g shifts for the next 9 days, so I will be a temporary single parent from tomorrow. Anyone got any ideas on what I can do as a mother-baby thing with Spud (9 months) to keep us (well, me) entertained next week without breaking the bank? There's only so many times you can feed the ducks!
Have a good weekend everyone:wave:Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p

Shez, hes going to be really pleased when i collect him from school in a bit and tell him that Henry is staying, so that should take some of the hurt from Wednesday away!!!! Im quite looking forward to telling him, he loves his football and his knowledge of all things football put a lot of men to shame!!!! Well done with the workouts as well!!!!
Well, luckily i didnt strip the beds, as it has been showery all day here, just as you think the sun is out for good, then another old rain cloud turns up!!!! Its sunny at the moment, but not sure how long for tho!
Had my blood test earlier, was a bit dissapointed with last weeks results because my levels have gone down, and i had hoped that they wouldnt, but never mind, this is why they are keeping an eye on me.
Skystar and Lillibet - i will be joining you (and anyone else on here) with Big brother, cant help it, it is compulsive viewing!!!!
Bgn Rzl - Great news with your job, hope its all sorted soon for you.
Pancakequeen - hope your foot improves quickly, although nice to have some time off work!!!
TM - hope DSs birthday goes well tomorrow.
Racy - glad you are enjoying your break, hope the rain stop for you soon.
Nutty - hope Sunday goes well for you x
Sorry if ive forgotton anyone, but hope everyone is having a good day x

Afternoon!
I got up really late today, 11.30am. I didnt go to bed till 3am though so it could have been worse! I went to my friends performance thing for her final year at uni which was interesting, then we all decided to go out for pizza etc and didnt leave till 1.45am!! I had a great evening though, I saw an old friend I havent seen for a while so it was good to catch up.
Today, I dont have any plans except to motivate myself for a marathon of revision as I dont have much time left and have been seriously slacking this week. I have no idea how im going to do it all, so im just going to plod on with it and hope for the best I guess. Its my own fault - I dont enjoy academic work and keep telling myself that I only have to do this exam then I dont have to do it ever again, but im lacking motivation. AAARRGGHHH
Right - im off - im going to do it!!

Hello everyone!
I'm not doing half-bad; washing load drying on airer along with towels. Pizza dough being created by bread machine for dinner.
Husband sent off to work with lunch (sausage sandwich, reduced price bread and cooked extra sausages last night). Spent 65p on flapjack myself though. Must stop spending money at my w**k canteen.
On the down side, a stain has mysteriously appeared on the sofa:mad: Would like to blame newer dog who is partly hubbies, but unfortunately am sure my dog is to blame. He tore his dew claw right at the top yesterday evening and had to be hot-footed to the vet. On the plus side we made it 10 minutes before they officially close and switch to double-time rates, so it didn't cost too much!
Off to search on the forum best ways to remove blood from cream sofas!0
