It's not like she couldn't see it and I hardly think she thought it should be there, it obviously looked out of place so why go anywhere near it in the first place?
I'll tell you why, coz she thought she'd get something out if it. So she says she has a sore arm and can only do light duties hardly warrants all the fuss does it.
You obviously have trouble reading the OP posts.
She moved an item which dislodged a mirror, this then fell against her.
It was perfectly reasonable to report it in order for the supermarket to take action to ensure that this could not happen again. This is what the "fuss" is about
Unlike you I am not a mind reader so I cannot tell whether the OP "thought she'd get something out of it"0 -

Oh come on, since when were there mirrors in a supermarket on the shop floor, a dress shop maybe, but a supermarket, Oh, let me see if this cabbage suits my colouring :rotfl: How droll. There are mirrors behind all the fruit and veg in my local shop.
If not behind, whatever OP picked up must have been pretty damn close, and actually touching the mirror to make it fall. Not necessarily, just speculation on your part
Also, there doesn't seem to be any mention of the mirror shattering and glass flying everywhere, I find that rather odd as a dropped mirror that size would make an awful mess if it fell.
Odd it may be but perfectly possible. Not everything that falls breaks.:D0 -

However, to answer OP's original question "what should I do next?" In the absence of any kind of response from tesco s/he should contact a solicitor. If the OP does indeed think they would get something out of it, this would most likley prove to be the case.0 -

Yes, BEHIND, but if you saw a mirror in front of the fruit & veg propped up against the display would you really think it was supposed to be there?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

I didn't have trouble reading the OP, she knocked a mirror onto herself because she moved something. Crikey some folk on here think they know it all and are so self righteous and up their own @rse
She was barely even injured by the sound of it (oh i've got a wee sore arm, how can I get some cash out of it, coz somebody has to be to blame, couldn't possibly be my own stupid fault)0 -
But aren't the items on a shelf in a supermarket put there to be removed
. And on the basis that they are it is not reasonable to expect that a large mirror will not fall on you when you do?
Well, quite. It would be pretty difficult to do our shopping if we weren't allowed to move anything off the shelves!0 -

OP HAS said staff conceded the mirror should not have been there because they were arguing about who left it there.
If the mirror was a display mirror, eg to go behind the products then it most certainly should not have been there and, as part of the display should not have fell when items for sale were picked up.
If the nightshift had not completed the display then the section should have been closed off until it was safe to enter.0 -
my god, what is the world coming to when grown adults can't even take responsibilty for their own actions. There always has to be someone to blame. So maybe the mirror shouldn't have been there but wasn't it big enough to be seen and avoided!!!!0

I doubt it - maybe the OP didn't see it?0 -

Reading seems to be one of the skills you lack as I don't recall seeing the OP asking for cash.0
