I have just done the pre approval thing and got this message

What cards above none are showing- does this mean there are none available to me , as when I did the pre approval check a few months ago it said straight away no cards were available, I am really confused now, but that does not take much to confuse me, lol. Any help much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I get the exact same thing.

If I go back and retry the same day it says "Sorry we can't offer you a card" and provides a link to a website claiming I have a high chance of approval for an Aqua card.

If I try a couple of days later I again get the same thing you do above. Odd.

EDIT: I just cleared all my cache / cookies / etc, used IE9 with the pre-app checker, and put in mother's details - it did come back with two cards available.

Closed IE9, cleared cache / cookies / etc again, re-opened IE9 and used MY details and got the same as you did above - no results but not saying I can't have anything either.

I think we aren't eligible for anything but the pre-app checker isn't working properly to display the results saying "Tough".

I changed my wage amount after I got the message I posted and it also told me I had a good chance of Aqua and Vanquis- how odd this is.

How do I clear cache etc, I may try my partners details (with his say so!!!) and see what happens.

If you use internet explorer go to tools - internet options - and then click "delete" under browsing history

I think this application checker is a load of twoddle. My Call Credit report looks nothing like my Equifax report.

It is a twoddle just one of barclaycards in genius ways of them looking like they are their to help customers.

Barclaycard used equifax for my pre-application check not 1 month ago.

90%+ for initial, and 80-90% for the rest

shows how shot to pieces my credit file is.
my check was done with experian with which I have 3 defaults, one with natwest, one with santander and one with black horse for £96.
total defaults about 700 :S
obviously it rejected me, told me i have a good chance for aqua, so i applied and got rejected by aqua, i also got rejected by vanquis not long ago..... defaults suck
my past history has been rubbish but have missed no payments on anything for over a year now.

any credit seems to be beyond me now
