    oooh i like it! We aim not to go away when its nice in UK - so thats a great idea. We want to go to Egypt, so i'm sure it will still be warm there. We don't like it to be boiling hot either.

    Then I do believe I just sorted next January out for you :) lol Also then you have a couple of extra months to debt bust and not feel so pressured. Your clearly earning good money to be able to pay off that kinda amount each month, so you dont need to pressure yourself even more.

    You are doing really well. keep it up. you may get there within your target,but if you prepare not to be you wont be dissapointed (that sounds terribly negative- but realistic).
    As for 29 yr old sister, maybe some beauty goods, or vouchers for her fave store, or a nice personalised hamper? Food/Toiletries/Whatever you fancy?

    ooooh good idea, i love hampers, and we have loads of sample type things hanging around the house - very money saving!

    Anyway, £97 to Abbey today, woop!
    I just realised that I have never actually mentioned that the total debt is actually spread between me and OH. I'm not really sure who has what in each others name as we move it around to get 0% balance transfers.

    ps i can't wait to meet the Xmas challenge - I am cheating slightly as I am counting total paid not total paid off...if you get what I mean? I think we have actually paid off about £15k, but once we have "paid"off £20k I will reset the goal to actual amounts paid off...geddit?
