Thanks Claire! I have just noticed on your signature that your double glazing amount is down! Hooray! How did you get on with your pay this morning?
Got roughly the right amount, I havent seen my payslip yet though. Working about a thousand hours next weekbut the money will help...
You made your target wooo ! :j0 -

Nothing much to not from me - but been very busy! Lots going on at the moment which is not MSE. We hopefully have a new lodger which is great news, she is dropping off holding deposit tonight and if she does we can finally take it off the market. This has been causing me a massive headache so will be delighted if all goes to plan.
Otherwise, nothing much to report in terms of debt busting - direct debits of £80 and £91 went today. Must update signature. Will pop onto everyones boards to see how you are all going!
xxPaying down the mortgage:
At 1 October 2011: £226,000
Currently: £224,499
Aim: 85% LTV (£212,500)
Paid £1,500
Target remaining: 88.89%0 -
Final figures for the month:
Total paid off in October £1,256 - which is some way off the target of £2,059.l
Good news is that Mint HAS GONE!!! This means that I now have £0 debt in my name (apart from 0% work loan - which won't appear on credit reports).
Hopefully this will mean that my credit score will be better - although I'm not planning to get any more debt.
Still a long way to go, but feeling goodPaying down the mortgage:

Forgot to say - even though no debt actually in my name - we look at the debt jointly as I nudge the debt around to get 0% deals, so I'm not not debt free just yetPaying down the mortgage:

0 in your name ! wooo !
Well done for that
Doing really well0 -
Well after a little break from posting - i can report that we paid £672 to Citi, plus £80 standard payment and £89 to Barclaycard.
Two more DDs to come out for Abbey and MBNA next week and then I have a final push for the month to take debt (ex. work loan) to under £15k!! woooo!!
Need to find £1,174 by end of month (most of it is found really) to do this.
Can't wait to go under £10k but think this will be Feb at earliest.
Other good news - find out pay rise on Monday - hoping for quite a big 'un.

Pay rise news in - not as much as I hoped, but I am on a good wage so can't complain. Bonus as well which is great as the company i work for had two rounds of redundancies during the year.
Have just declared for my xmas challenge - £18,982 paid off since 1 December 2008 - am thrilled with this amount.
Still a way to go but the end is in sight - can't wait! Have even talked to BF about what we will do when debt free...!
Will try to keep updating as this keeps me nice and motivated. It seems like the best way for me to pay off lump sums is to wait until the end of the month and round the account balance down to have enough to pay all bills and monthly expenditure. Shame as I love to make little payments!
I have a cash flow spreadsheet for every day so I can budget money in and out each month - means I have too much room to spend money! xxPaying down the mortgage:
