10 months and counting

Options
By my calculations and many spreadsheets, I think that we may be debt free in 10 months!
If nobody minds, I'm going to use this diary as a place to keep myself motivated and to count down!

As you can see from my signature, I still have quite a lot of debt, but I think with a bit of sacrifice and hard work, we can do it by the end of June 2009.

Now i've written it down, I have to achieve it.

Wish me luck! x

    Right, target 1:
Pay off season ticket of £987 by the end of August. In order to do this, I need to find an extra £172.
Will update as to how I get on...

Thanks Yukkibear. I feel like we have been paying off debt forever, as it has been going up and down for about the last 4 years, but there is light at the end of the tunnel!
Once we have finished paying off the debts, it will be so nice to have all the money for us. We have not been on holiday together for 4 years, so that will be the first thing we do!

I think we are on the same wave length Diana! We have 60 things on ebay at the moment, we have sold about 25 in the last few days. If everyone pays for everything, we will get an extra £290, but I am wary as so many bidders never seem to pay for things...grrrrr!

Loads of DVDs, and lots of junk from around the house! We have sold a TV that I broke nearly two years ago, a garden table we have had for about 6 months, some Wedgwood stuff I found in my parents old house that they weren't interested in, some old clothes....

Just junk really, but one mans rubbish, anothers treasure and all that....:)

Its really boring putting stuff on, but I find it good fun watching people bid on it xx
