    and ten months later, i am pleased to report that we are debt free as of today! excluding the work loan of course. not sure if anyone is still following, especially as i haven't updated in months, but i wanted to update my diary anyway!!

    Paying down the mortgage:
    At 1 October 2011: £226,000
    Currently: £224,499
    Aim: 85% LTV (£212,500)
    Paid £1,500
    Target remaining: 88.89%
