  • We are at football tomorrow, friends birthday in the evening and a wedding fair on Sunday. We have a mystery shop dinner on Sunday though!

Overall, not really MSE, but not terrible...I would have thought tomorrow will be budget busting though :(

  • Well it was a very expensive weekend, but it was fun!
Anyway the results are in for the month and......I have realised that I am an idiot and have misunderstood my own target.....Never mind! i though I was aiming to pay £2,059, but it actually turns out to achieve DFD in 10 months I need to have reduced the capital by that much.
Anyway, still not a bad month - total paid off (real capital) is....

    £1,677

I am not going to achieve 10 month target, but I feel this a good start! Need to get OH back on board as we are slipping into expensive habits because we think we have done so well so far....which we have....but we still have a LONG way to go.

  • Mel, your still doing amazing in my books. Anything of an overpayment to clear debt is a good thing, the amount is just relative.

    Well done :)
  • Thanks Claire! I have just noticed on your signature that your double glazing amount is down! Hooray! How did you get on with your pay this morning?

Total this month paid off (capital) is £2,201, so have paid off £142 over target. Hooray!
