    Here ya' go:

    http://www.mariestopes.org.uk/

It can be all dealt with by a month from now I expect - and you can forget all about this for the rest of your life:D - again thats "voice of experience" here - as I've been delighted to be able to forget about all that for many years now..

    Good luck.

...and thinking further on the namecalling you've had - I would regard that as one way to "sort the wheaf from the chaff" - as regards who is "worthy" to be a friend. If someone is truly a friend of yours - then they will sympathise with you about the traumatic birth of your first child and be pleased for you to have a chance not to have to go through that again. If they are STILL calling you names after being reminded about that trauma - then they're no friends of yours - more like jealous of you for the extra time/money you will have available for your existing family and yourself because of not having any more children....

I decided to have the snip as the alternative for my OH would be so much more complicated.
Your bloke shouldn't be too concerned about the snip, technology has moved on enormously, the No scalpel method, is more like a minor procedure, no worse than having a mole removed.

The procedure took 25 mins, I was back to work the next day, and after a suitable number of evacuations I was given the all clear. It was like a huge weight was lifted from my shoulders.

You can watch a video of the procedure on the marie stopes website.

Although I did have to go private, as my GP said "I would change my mind" as I dont have any kids. Best £400 I ever spent.

It's trial and error with most contraceptives, everyone reacts differently to different things. The pill doesn't always make you put on weight, ive happily been loosing weight on it! I also had bad side effects with the implant but others have loved it.

Why not have a chat to your nurse at your gp surgery about it? Mine was very clued up on it, and came up with plenty of suggestions! :)

Cerazette is not working for me at all.

Been taking it for 4 weeks and I've been 'on' for 2 and a half weeks of that time!

I've never been on for longer than a week in my life!

Keep getting stress heads/headaches and I'm a grouchy cow too.

I'm soooooooo tired too, permananetly exhuasted :(

Think I'll give it another month and if nothing changes it'll be back to the Docs for me.

Same here Shell with Cerazzette. First 3 months were fine but suddenly I came on and after 7 weeks non-stop I had to stop taking it.

Personally I don't like the idea of chemicals or hormones being put in my body. I was on the pill for about a year aged 16-17 to stop irregular and abnormally painful periods. It sorted these out fine but meant I was a moody cow constantly. Like the day before your period when you are weepy and angry but constantly, I turned into a bag of emotions and my DH (then boyfriend) said it's not worth all the hassle your having, we can just use condoms. Have done that since then (10 years) and have had no problems at all. When we wanted to conceive we just stopped using them and had no problems (fell pregnant in second month) and we are hoping to TTC again soon!

Out of 3 of my friends who had the coil 1 had an infection that ended in a trip to A&E, coil being removed and lot's of pain, 1 ended in an ectopic pregnancy which was heart breaking as you can imagine and she luckily escaped permanent damage to her tubes, and the third ended in getting it removed as it never 'sat' right and was uncomfortable and her moods were really bad, bordering on depression. These are not good odds in my eyes. I'm sure they work fine for some but it's not worth the risk IMO, I could take the physical pain, but the risk of an ectopic or infertility I could not cope with.

I took Cerazette after my first baby and went postal. I had the Mirena fitted 6 months after that and apart from it coming out first time I found it to be great! Periods stopped, little weight gain and I didn't feel the need to kill everything within a 5 mile radius every month.

I had my 2nd daughter 9 weeks ago and my doc has put me on Microgynon (purely for the fact that I need to have a period before they will fit the mirena for me again.) Last weekend If anyone had breathed at me wrong......
I've also just received my referral through to talk about sterilisation in September. I'm very very sure that 2 is enough for me (plus my husband is quite a bit older and I have 2 older stepsons)
I know that I do not want any more children and I do not want to spend the rest of my life putting hormones into my body- I'm hormonal enough :D

    I'm 26 if that helps
