Mirena coil works for me, though lots of horror stories on t'internet!
Hi!
Not patroising at all. We are definately minds made up for various reasons. Yep I know I sound "weird", "strange" and "selfish" (i've been called them all
) but that's life! Avon Representative October 2010: C16: £276 :T C17: £297 :j0 -
erichamster is right of course, but you have to be organised...Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

I would recommend the mirena coil. It contains a hormone that is equivalent to one mini pill per week and has few side effects. A plus side is periods get lighter or even stop! I know a lot of my pals have it and it lasts for five years. I think the snip is a big step personally.
PS don't listen to the horror stories, it doesn't hurt too much having it fitted if you've had a baby.0 -
the pill cerazette is amazing, i haven't gained weight but it stopped my periods too!0

In my case, because they don't stop periods. I can't lie in bed crying in pain and throwing up for a few days each month. Though I realise it's not that bad for everyone!erichamster wrote: »I'm sure this isn't what you want to hear, but I've never understood why people don't just use condoms?0 -
Humphrey10 wrote: »An injection every 12 or so weeks (like suejb2 says). Much easier than being on the pill. Like other forms of contraception, it does increase risks of some cancers and other health problems, but decreases others.
I'm scared of that after our friend got pregnant whilst on the injection...didn't find out til she was 38 weeks :rotfl: sorry shouldn't laugh!Avon Representative October 2010: C16: £276 :T C17: £297 :j0 -
i was sterilised at 23 after 2 kids it was the best choice for me, but know a few that went on to regret having it done. I can understand not wanting to pump yourself full of drugs long term so echo gratefulforhelp and look into a coil if memory serves correct its 5 yrs before they need changing.0
