I had to issue legal proceedings to receive some/all of my cashbacko.k. - simple google search does at least give an email address for the Watford Bailiffs - I will try this
bailiffs@watford.countycourt.gsi.gov.uk0 -
Try ringing the court. They should be able to connect you to the bailiff's office.
(The cheque you are expecting will come from the court, not the bailiff)0 -
I had to issue legal proceedings to receive some/all of my cashbackHave called the court and got the bailiffs office, and the reason they can not fulfil this warrant is because "it is a virtual office" - they can give no more information.
I can not believe it is this easy for Mobile Rainbow to avoid warrants and I am confused as to why they settled the other one which was issued at same time, I guess I am not alone in thinking that it would be lovely to get to sit down in a quiet room with these guys and discuss these claims0 -
It looks from this that they may have moved out of the premises you originally had down as their address. It may have been serviced offices, and they now no longer occupy them.
You will need to try and find where they are now - not easy if they don't want to be found, or have maybe gone to the wall.
Maybe others will post on developments.0 -

Hi Nicole and friends on this thread
Thanks for the advice, I think that you have said a ‘summons’ should claim for the total cashback. I got a deal with Mobile Rainbow for a ‘3’ network Sony Ericsson K610i phone contract at £35.00 per month in September 2006. I submitted 3 cashback vouchers which I think was for a deal of half-price rental…is that the kind of deal you were offered at the 3, 6, and 9month time period? It would be helpful to have a rough idea of the terms of the offers as I can’t remember the exact details. If I am correct, then I am owed £210.00 (I hope this is correct) but I did get a payment from Mobile Rainbow in May 2007.
I will have a look at Money-claim online as to how to proceed as at least it seems I can get started with a £25.00 fee. But I have just seen ‘Quentin’s message to say there may be a problem with the Watford address for service. I would love to know if there are any problems with the address as I am about to post out a L.B.A!

i have just realised that i am not the only one being ripped off by mobile rainbow.indeed my case is very similar to the various ones i have been reading about on this forum.i also have not recieved any cashback for my 2 contract phones at £35/month.i have been put on high priority and promised that i would recieve cashback in 45 days but nothing.coupled with a non existing tel help number that is not manned, this all boils down to a so called company that should not even be trading.i live in Northern Ireland. Does anyone know if i can use my local court to solve the matter or do i need to go to england or is there an easier way.would i be out of pocket if i asked the bailiffs to intervene?
ps.ANYONE CONSIDERING USING MOBILE RAINBOW BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
I had to issue legal proceedings to receive some/all of my cashbackhere is some more information direct from the bailiff that tried to enforce the warrants I recently issued - don't give up hope! The Company are still trading and appear to be paying the Judgements - we are in double figures! The address given is a service company providing a telephone answering facility and a post box - the Defendants have no assets at the address.
I have spoken with one of the directors of MSOLS but he refused to give me their trading address.
Hopefully they will satisfy the warrant in your case.0 -
I had to issue legal proceedings to receive some/all of my cashbackHmmm. MSOLS have ignored my objection to their defence offer (they pay me in June - yeah right) so I had now reached the stage of issuing a warrant. I'm not sure what to do now...I obviously don't want to give this one up, but losing more cash to pay for a bailiff doesn't appeal either!0

I had to issue legal proceedings to receive some/all of my cashbackthats a real tough call to make, as I said I issued two warrants together and one was paid (although cheque is still clearing with court and so might still bounce) and the other was not. I guess they are having extreme cash flow issues and are paying a few at random. Having spoken to the bailiffs it appears there is still hope they can voluntarily pay the failed warrant but the bailiff can not seize goods "to the value of " because there are none.
Personally I intend to chase every single cashback right through to the point they are officially bankrupt just as a matter of principle but I would not be surprised to be unsuccessful, so don't do it if you can not afford to lose the extra £35 for the warrant.0 -
I had to issue legal proceedings to receive some/all of my cashbackFair point. Through previous claims I have got 3/4 of the money they owed me so I'm not as out of pocket as some, and I agree about the principle of thing and making sure we drain every penny out of them. I've talked myself into it - 'll go for it.0
