Is there any bank you have NEVER had an issue with

As the title states - I thought it would be interesting to find out people's experiences of banks that they have had no, or only very minor problems (like debit card a couple of days late, etc) with.

While we all like to complain, there's rarely a thread of praise!

    I'll kick off with:

Yorkshire BS (Very efficient, excellent counter service which also allows you to make extra transfers on internet accounts)
ICICI (no issues in over 5 years)
Alliance & Leicester (Held multiple current and savings accounts, always been paid in full for interest and cash offers)

Cater Allen, So far they have been fantastic, great service, call centre staff who know what they are talking about, and the centre is located in Bradford so I can understand what they are saying.

Alliance & Leicester. Have had several accounts since it was Giro-bank!!!
Very handy to be able to use the Post Office. Only drawback is if I do need to see anyone then I no longer have a branch near me and have to go into the Town centre (about once a year)

I guess it depends on the definition of issue.

Nationwide, A&L and ICICI have served me well for a number of years.

I have had minor problems with every bank I ever used. However, apart from Abbey they all put the problems right very quickly.

Clean: Nat West, Halifax, First Direct, Egg, Britannia.

Middling: Sainsburys (I swear their intenet service invalidates password) and ING (more my fault, but I just couldn't handle their log-in system)

Awful: Barclays (I've never had an account with them, but their failure to deal with a small estate that I'm executor for is driving me up the wall at the moment, and they also kept sending me somebody else's mail and when I returned it asking for an explanation they never wrote back)

Bank of Scotland - never had a major issue. Any problems are normally sorted within the space of a phone call. Branch staff are generally nice, however there's always a queue. They've always been able to offer me the accounts and finance I require. BoS Reward Account is excellent. Last but not least, I think Online Banking is superb - I rarely visit branch or telephone.

Lloyds TSB - never had an issue. Probably because I hold all my main accounts with BoS. That said I do like LTSB's free mobile text alerts and also Save The Change. Not a big fan of their Internet Banking, but this is partly to do with me being more familiar with BoS Online.

Overall I prefer Bank of Scotland over Lloyds TSB, but that's more to do with my loyalty for BoS - they're the bank I've grown up with.
Anything I post is my opinion, so from time to time I may be wrong. I try to provide answers based in fact, however I don't know everything, so (like all posters on MSE), take what I say with a pinch of salt.
