I wish you could sue smokers!

I couldn't tell you as a non smoker, but I have already added a link to explain that (maybe you selectively didnt see it
) whether its psychological, a stress relief, or just because they enjoy it,
Whatever they are, I cannot imagine them having any physical benefits whatsoever, but whatever the reason a Smoker "chooses" to smoke, they do it because they want to.0 -

I'm a smoker.
However, I don't think it's smokers that are the problem - it's just inconsiderate people. You get inconsiderate drivers who drive too fast, inconsiderate people with phones who talk in a quiet section on a train or library, inconsiderate people playing music, inconsiderate people dropping gum on the floor.
Would I wish a ban on all of these things? No, we can only put measures in place to force inconsiderate people to be less obtrusive (smoking areas, quiet coaches on trains, fines for dropping litter etc).
If someone blows smoke in your face, or near you, that's a pretty rude thing to do. Are you going to die from it? No. You'll pick up a lot more posioning from car fumes walking through a busy city centre. Smokers are just easier to target and sacrifice.

I think it does.
I think your wrong! Your 99% is merely 1% of those you see.
Here we go again.
Yes I know, the truth is hard to bear
Yes, but I don't get any choice. I get smoked around. I don't go out looking for smokers so as I can get close to them so as I can moan.
Neither do I with traffic, but life's full of inconsiderate polluters isn't itI guess your choice is to go to places where smokers AREN'T allowed
They don't "need" one. And smokers add to my stress.
Thats a matter of your personal opinion, smokers say they "do", as you are neither, your not in a position to categorically KNOW.
You dont NEED a car, you merely THINK you do. And drivers add to my stress.
I disgree completely. Being inconsiderate can be multifaceted. And again, what about MY choice?
I dont find a Nurse, Doctor, Lawyer or Judge, going outside of there premises for a cigarette during their break as being inconsiderate, but lets not forget you included abusive and rude. I have never actually MET an abusive nurse or doctor, although I am sure some exist.
As for your choice, what about a Smokers, Moreso what about MINE???
Where I live, the only smog is tobacco!
I could get you a full read up transcript of what SMOG actually is, I can tell you it is NOT smoking related, look it up.
You choices are as limited as mine, I am a NON smoker, yet you show all the signs of an ANTI Smoker.
Everyone is entitled to their opinions, whether or not they smoke. What your not entitled to, is to spout your drivel as Gospel, you are in no position to call anybody rude or inconsiderate, without first looking in the mirror.
I find your accusations that 99% of ALL smokers are, rude, abusive and inconsiderate. Both RUDE and INCONSIDERATE. You must live in some bubble where NOBODY that you know smokes, and should any of your friends or relatives DARE smoke, you would cast them off like the rest of the filthy, ill mannered, inconsiderate and abusive smokers you have had the misfortune of "meeting".
I guess I am lucky in that respect, I have friends and colleagues who are either smokers or Non smokers, I don't go around judging my friends, I don't refuse medical treatment from a doctor because he smokes. I certainly wouldn't call a Judge "Abusive" because he smokes in his spare time.
And I OBJECT to you calling my Mother Abusive and Inconsiderate, because quite frankly, you don't even know her, what would you know?
If you by chance KNOW a friend or a relative, who smokes, and you have not told them how rude, inconsiderate and abusive you think they are, then your a BIGOT!
Nobody likes a BIGOT, whether or not they smoke.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

Surely if I can respect a smokers right to smoke then they can respect my and my sons right not to be smoked over ?
I do think anyone who smokes should seriously consider giving up, for their own health, and their families too (who won't want them to die early!), but equally a smoker is entitled to think I should seriously consider giving up chocolate (or any other thing which is also potentially harmful to health).
I kind of agree with Proc that you can have considrate and in-considerate people in all walks of life and it tends to be the in-considerate ones who cause most of the problems!
The one advantage of having a nation of smokers is all the taxes they pay, however I would support measures to encourage people to give up, despite this lack of income!

In my experience, the majority of smokers are thoughtless, careless, abusive and inconsiderate. That's my whole issue. Your point is well made and I can only try to make a leap that the addiction overules the individual's normal behaviour. It certainly is ironic that people who's profession involves saving lives engage in a life-shortening activity, and so on.

Glad you said "humour" (as well as "concept") as I've been having fun at your posts. You make me proud to be a non-smoker. And I'm smiling as I type this.
Smokers please note; Not all Non smokers are this bad.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

Yes, I realise this and don't pub's to close anymore than anyone else. This is why, as you'll read elsewhere on this thread that I'm all in favour of indoor smoking... in segregated areas.
No, we forced you out of the new non-smoking area. We didn't force you to huddle in the doorway. That's your (thoughtless, careless, whatever else) decision
no you forced us outside WITHOUT a proper smoking area, the door way is probably the MOST shelterd area availableIMOJACAR
