I couldn't tell you as a non smoker, but I have already added a link to explain that (maybe you selectively didnt see it ) whether its psychological, a stress relief, or just because they enjoy it, its no different to asking what the benefits of alcohol are to a teetotaller.

Whatever they are, I cannot imagine them having any physical benefits whatsoever, but whatever the reason a Smoker "chooses" to smoke, they do it because they want to.

I would just like to add, if someone deliberately smoked over my LO, I would happily rub my LO's nappy in their face.

If someone pulled out a cigarette whilst standing over my child, I would douse them in petrol and ask them politely if they want a light .

Fortunately that does not happen to me, except when I stand at a pelican crossing with the buggy.
