How long were you together before getting Engaged?

We were engaged and living together just a few months after meeting, engagement lasted 10 years before we got married 9 months ago. We also have a beautiful little girl

Knew each other ten years, started dating, got engaged four months later, married another 15 months on, and just had a baby 13 months after that.

We are now 34 and 42. But not recycled - were single before we got together and neither of us had lived with anyone.

I met my other half throught Match.com in November 06, very quickly I was spending 75% of my time there. Between December 07 and April 08 I spent 1 night in my house, I haven't spent a night in it since. Roll on August 09 and I am going to rent my house out and move in with him, (offically clothes and all) so we are approaching 3 years. Hes my life partner, I have no doubt and we're happy as we are.

We got engaged four months after we started dating and married three months after that.

We both knew it was right so didn't see the point in waiting.

18 months until we got engaged. Then six months until we got married.

knew each other 2 weeks before moving in together got engaged week later and married 4 weeks later that was over 20 years ago and still like newly weds.

Met when I was 18 almost 19, bought our house when I was 19 almost 20. Engaged on my 21st birthday married 18 months later. Still together after 14 years (10 years married).

So that it isn't all whirlwind romances on here, going out for five years, engaged for 18 months, married 28 years.

We've been together 6 years and still aren't engaged. I've given up all hope to be honest :rolleyes:

We met on Feb 20th 1990 when I had only just turned 14 and he was 18. He bought a house just before I turned 18 and asked me to move in with him. I did so and on Feb 20th 2000 he asked me to marry him. It took him 10 years but was worth the wait
I didn't hang around for another 10 years.....he asked me to marry him on a Sunday, I had the church booked by the Monday morning :rotfl:
We married in May 2001.

He is my absolute best friend and my soul mate.
