Our church does what's called 'believer baptism' so we dedicate our children into a Christian way of life and when they reach an age where they can choose for themselves they can be baptised...

I think in general it is considered a good idea to be baptised as soon as possible because Catholics believe that Baptism is necessary for salvation.

I think what you have done re christening is ok, they're going to learn about it with your mum and you haven't just gone oh x school is the best so I'll christen them so they get in. I also understand its probably more difficult in NI :rolleyes:(part of me wishes there wasn't such a thing as religion because it causes so much trouble in the world, but if it wasn't that 'we' would find something else to fight about)

LOL :rotfl:I think OH would disown me if I took my laptop on hols just to keep up with here.. but probably only because he wouldn't be able to keep up his gaming too! :rolleyes:
