Our church does what's called 'believer baptism' so we dedicate our children into a Christian way of life and when they reach an age where they can choose for themselves they can be baptised...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Can't believe how skinny my arms and legs are now - it's amazing how much pregnancy fills u out. I'm on a mission to put some weight back on!money_maker wrote: »This might sound really stupid, so forgive me, but here the Catholic church wants all babies christened before they are 6 weeks old. I think what you have done re christening is ok, they're going to learn about it with your mum and you haven't just gone oh x school is the best so I'll christen them so they get in. I also understand its probably more difficult in NI (part of me wishes there wasn't such a thing as religion because it causes so much trouble in the world, but if it wasn't that 'we' would find something else to fight about)I know in the olden days!, babys were supposed to be christened early........I think I was christened at the christmas service, having been born early December.
Also, in the very olden days, when infant mortality was soooo much higher, you had to be christened early, in case you died unchristened and ended up in limbo for eternity?money_maker wrote: »That could be it 3. Our Catholic schols will take all kids christened into the chapel first before any other admissions, so anyone who wants in has to have been 'done':)0 -
