Well done to Charlotte, that's fab! Do you get a prize too
Aww poor Fergie, at least you know he is rolling now though. My doctor prescribes me movicol Weezl, and he told me there is no long term side effects, all it does is basically drag water to your colon to stop your poos being so dry. Tastes like crap though!
Im sick of Keiras eating! She has fallen asleep and had a banana since 3, that's it!! She refused to eat dinner. I'm sure she isn't getting enough protein, she really doesn't eat meat because it looks "gross" or "it stinks" but thats with everything from cheese, to tuna, to beans, to vegetables!
I'm such a worrywart!
Oh and I cooked that lamb shoulder, and YUK, I don't like lamb! It's greasy and tastes nasty, mint sauce is equally bogging! OH doesn't really like it either and the cats ate the stuff of Keira's plate! So they got the rest of the meat leftover......
I've still got one in the freezer aswell, and I'm not wasting my leccy cooking it, I'll give it to my mum.
Yuk yuk lamb is gross0 -
Speaking of back to school bugs, the nurse today suggested I get out more and now is a good time to do it - before all the bugs really kick off. Think we might go into town tomorrow for grandparent present shopping..
Did you order the mugs you were looking at ??The two best things I have done with my life

Feelie - Well done on your huge post earlier! How amazing are you and your memory! And thanks for missing me!
I've been about, trying to keep up, but have had a mood on all weekend and haven't posted!(It was a full moon!)
Nothing serious, just the usual.......OH finds time to play xbox, Wii, go for a run, faff on his guitar..............while I spend my weekend cleaning/ironing/looking after children.
Well done Charlotte - We all knew she was the most beautiful!
Hello Glam! :T Glad you're back home and he's turned a nice shade of pink!
Hugs to everyone else who needs/wants them.:j:jmy baby is crawling!!!:j:j
Yey for crawling babies!
Mine only started last week, but she's an expert now! Its amazing how quickly they go from being fixed in one spot, to high-speed crawling out of the room!
And why, when there is a pile of toys to crawl too, does she choose to crawl to the tv/dvd/fire place/stairs/wires!
I don't know about others but given that Alex's arrival wasn't straight forward I'm even more against home births now than I was before
As I say - my circumstances probably have clouded my judgement though...I just figure that we have a lot of medical expertise in one place and I have every intention of using it if I have another baby!
I'm with Tine!
I love the idea of a homebirth - being calm and in familiar surroundings sounds good when compared with a strange/clinical/strange hospital room...........but!
My DS, my firstborn, was born by emergency C/Section because of undiagnosed frank breech. After 24 hours of labour, and several examinations from people who could 'feel the head', labour seemed to slow down, heartrate dropped, baby was in distress - and midwife announced that it was a bum she could feel and not a head!
He'd come as far down the birth canal as he could, and was wedged, bum first. they planned to remove him with the forceps, but his heart rate/oxygen levels dropped dangeously low and he was whipped out of the sunroof.
I dread to think what would have happened had this been at home?!
We now have a mentally disabled 12 year old - we still don't know if the birth was the cause - and probably never will.
Both my girls were beautifully easy 'normal' births, and DD2's couldn't have been quicker/easier........but I wouldn't have dared take the risk and had her at home.:beer:0 -

Yup, this one plus the matching Grandma one. Want new work trousers for Dad too (hardwearing things with kneepads in - he's already got some but really ought to have new ones) and a pedicure voucher for Mum too

We experimented a bit and "regular roast" lamb shoulder was not good, but slow-roasted, under foil for 3.5-4 hours at a low heat, can be absolutely gorgeoussooo tender and pull-apart with the fingers, if you don't like fat some of it does go to waste but you can separate it out! Don't give up on it!

Maybe I'll try it in the SC, thanks Bruno.
Well Keira had fallen asleep on the sofa, didn't have a pullup on and peed all over the sofa! Nice. She still won't eat something. Feel like ripping my hair out, WHY WONT SHE EAT NORMAL FOOD!!0 -
Ooh, I love lamb too! Try making a stew with the left overs... Boil it to death for a few hours, it'll be lovely!
Jm, I'm with Sami... I don't agree with it... But like she said, ring and chat to the priest soon or it might be out of your hands anyway...
I rang about caitlyn's dedication today! There's a dedication service in November and the next one is march... I really wanted to get her done while she's tiny but hubby is having an operation on his mouth right at the end of October so it looks like it will be the march one... It's a pain being so close to aimee's birthday too <sigh> never mind... With any luck she'll still fit aimee's christening gown!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
