I'd have a home birth like a shot... But then both times I've felt forced to go to the hospital too early...But then saying that, it takes me all day to get to 5cm then 45mins to expel a baby... Still haven't done my BS!

Caitlyn's sitting in the jumperoo... Can't tell who's having the most fun out of her or Aimee though!

Honeypop, sorry, don't know the answer. We have only ever used the pull along trailers at Centre Parcs. X

MrsT I'm the same way. I was hoping to have an uneventful hospital birth first time around and then have the next baby/babies at home - just being at the hospital first time in case something happened.

And it did, and I'd have lost my monster if we hadn't been there. I'm not risking the same thing happening again.

The absolute worst thing is the expressing. The nurse has just left. Had a long chat with her - she was saying how amazed she was with how well Rhys was doing and how well I'd coped with it all. Was asking lots of questions - I think it was a roundabout way of asking me if I'd got PND

Nope, just HRF (house renovators' frustration) instead *sigh*

Weezl - can't remember if you are BF or not, but one of the bits of advice I had was to eat grapes myself (asl well as giving baby prunes/water etc and massage tummy in clockwise direction). We didn't have bleeding or anythign as severe as you though - I would definitely go off to the docs if it were me!

We've just had a long nap in the big bed. Slept right through tea time, and haven't got any food ready :eek: Best go open an emergency jar and cut up some cheese and whatever else I can find in the fridge she can eat raw!

You mean your supposed to avoid that stuff? I've been wallowing in and smearing myself with radox and sanctuary and soap and glory! A doesn't seem to mind

I know what you mean with OH. Though mine is working so much I hardly see him anyway. When he's here I don't ask him for anything so as not to get annoyed/disappointed. I am going to write a list of thigs I need him to do, like...uhmmm... I'll think of things.

Honeypop, if its the front carrier then I wouldn't feel comfortable cycling with it. We have one but I wouldn't dare lean forward.

Wooohooo that's the last sweet potato puree in the freezer in icecube trays and the chicken for dinner is in the oven... Need to boil the carrots and spuds for our dinner and will pure any left over to be frozen for madam lol she may not be on solids yet but I'm building up a nice stock

Oh and I went and got Amber weighed (passed by the clinic) and she is 7lb7oz (last week she was 6lb14oz) :j:j:j

I just got a phone call from the church administrator. I enquired about Maddys christening and mentioned about seeing on the news that they were starting to combine them with weddings. She took a while to come back to me but has just had an email from the Dean who says she is willing to do it. Now just have to get my head round it, as it is what I wanted but the idea of getting married in a few weeks is a bit daunting!

Oh, speaking of purees, I asked the nurse today re weaning a premie. She said they used to do it 26wks plus half their prematurity so it'd be weaning at 30.5wks from his actual birth date for Rhys but now they just go a straight 26wks from actual birth date... So we might manage to be on a wide enough diet to have Christmas dinner at Christmas
