Oh, speaking of purees, I asked the nurse today re weaning a premie. She said they used to do it 26wks plus half their prematurity so it'd be weaning at 30.5wks from his actual birth date for Rhys but now they just go a straight 26wks from actual birth date... So we might manage to be on a wide enough diet to have Christmas dinner at Christmas :D

:j I'm sure he can have a good old play with it even if he doesn't eat much :) (You can always do what we are at the mo and give some "solids" and some puree too!)

:rotfl: Will you be down on one knee when he gets home then?

On the dinner front - cow and gate pasta and creamy carbonara is aparently the yummiest thing ever and very nice with fresh tomatoes. We've had to stop for a poo break though. :rotfl:

(((Hugs))) SM. IKWYM, I took some piccys of me and Maddy on Saturday. Was gutted at what I looked like, could see skin over the top of my trousers in one (deleted) and I ended up crying in the bathroom. I'm sure I don't look like that in the mirror. :o Partly why I wasn't on this weekend, feeling sorry for myself, doh! Why are you feeling so bad, how's things? :A

Oh, and OH asked me to marry him last August '08', might reply now!!!

Am sure SIL will love Rhys playing with sprouts at her house! ;):D

Just heard from OH. Can't say I'd realised he was late home from work - he's usually home at 1645 :o Anyway.. he was late anyway cos some engineering work over ran (he has to be on standby in case they set fire to anything whilst welding) but now a whole "tribe" () of gyspies have just turned up on the edge of the site so they've got to "do something about it" apparently - probably end up in a industrial strength water fight using the fire engine! :rotfl:

i think these are coming in the asda baby event on 15th sep for £1.00 as someone on the preg thread hada email with all details
ooh I'm being re-quoted :D Just call me the oracle:cool:

Weezl - have you booked him an app at the GPs? have you spoken to your brother about it? if neither of these are answered with 'yes' then I telling (yes telling not asking ;)) you to get on that phone and make an app! I'm sure I saved the NHS plenty by not having blood tests while pregnant so yiu can have some of my credit for Fergie (if your still feeling that has some bearing on it) and please feel free to pass on ur HV's number so I can ring her and tell her she is an inconsiderate, arrogant jobsworth!

Honey - I think the carrier will be like THIS I think it will be fine as there's not gonna be many cars about, unless your OH isn't very good at riding a bike? I would have thought they'd have something suitable that sounds safer tho

The "tribe" that is currently occupying land near Homebase in our town arrived with a tractor to move one of those huge (think the size of a mini) boulders (the ones that stop unwanted vehicles) out the way to allow them to get their motor homes past!!!:eek::eek: But some of the motor homes are well nice :D Just a pity about the callor gas canisters and white plastic furniture all over the place (and the rubbish, dogs, washing lines...)

I got a whole 1 oz from one boob!!! :j

My DH has !!!!!!ed off out to clean tents from his weekends camping trip. Not had dinner yet because I've been waiting on him, he'd only moan if we ate without him and expect me to go make another dinner. Half a mind to poke Amber and phone himt o get home now cos I can't cope. But he would huff and haw and I'd only be left to make dinner and look after a screaming baby :(
