How much did you express this time? :p

    Thankyou ladies xx

Got 5 1/2 oz from one booby...then 1 oz from the other

I have just decided that when we get back from our hols I am going to stop my nighttime expressing. Benjamin will be 6 months. I will continue to feed him for now but no more freezer full of milk....it is just a massive commitment to keep pumping every night - especially now he is eating all kinds of stuff, it is not like he is just a BF baby any more. Although he still probably feeds as much as he ever did in addition to eating - little chunk!!!

Elle - if there is anything wrong with that boy I will eat my hat!

I will probably regret saying that....but now I have so there :o

Complete reluctance to sleep doesn't come across very well in photos then? That's all that's wrong with him at the minute..

ETA: Have you been expressing in the daytime too, or do you mean you're stopping expressing completely? :)
  • I express when I am away from Benjamin (usually) and then at about 10.30pm or so. Since he was 12 weeks he has been sleeping since about 7pm so I have spent 12 weeks building up a store of EBM (we use it but we also use formula when it is convenient).

I just think that at some point I need to be thinking about stopping BF. I don't want that to be timed anywhere near to me going back to work so I may continue to feed morning and evening for a while....but stop all the expressing and let him have formula when I am not there....

I dunno - it is such an internal battle...will mull it over on hols - nothing is changing before then anyway!

Off to bed - night all xxx

    Nighty night MFD xxx
  • MFD - Wow - the most I ever got from both was 5oz!

I'd probably get nowt now - it's been over a year since I tried.

BTW - I've had 3 lonely mornings now! DH at work and DD in her own bed - if it continues after we have been away I can see us getting her room sorted out and moving her in!!!!

Have you tried DD in her own room before, MDW? :)

The most I've managed in a long time was the 240ml (8oz-ish) I conjured up from nowhere at 5am yesterday morning.. fluke, I'm sure of it! :o Tempted to wake up and do it again in the middle of the night but at the rate I'm going, I'll still be awake then anyway! :o Trying to get back to the every 3hrs routine. Dunno how successful it'll be but we can hope! :D

I'd best go rescue OH from Rhys.. ;) All I can hear is "Rahh, Rahh, Rahh"..

MM I love you too :D:p I have to say the thought of not having you guys to talk to is scary! I suppose I'll only reach posting less if/when I go back to work (which right now I don't feel like I ever want to do :o)
