Oh after people complaining about mothercare, I'd ordered some stuff last night and then realised this morning I'd forgotten some fitted sheets so called them to see if I could add them to the order, woman said they couldn't but she would give me free delivery on the new order :T

  • Mel - my DH used this system to help him learn to read - his dyslexia wasn't diagnosed until he was 36. He didn't have a reading age when he started the system and a year later he had a secondary school level of reading.

I just thought it might help your DS.

Thank you for that link, very interesting. I am thankful that his teacher is the school senco and took my concerns seriously straight away... She had noticed it herself too. He is currently getting extra tuition with her solely to improve his difficulies.

Hi MOTM - I phoned up for my claim form on a Monday and got it only four or five days later. They told me it would be with me within 10 working days, so if you've been waiting longer than that, it might be worth giving them a quick call.

I sent mine off last Tuesday, so it looks like I've got a long wait before I heard back from them as Elle has been waiting since 10th July and hasn't heard anything yet.

I've got mine now and sent it back.

Hopefully not too long before my millions come my way.

It had a hand written reference on it and the lady on the phone said it had that as it was marked as urgent, when I phoned after completion, as I had a question I needed help with :D She reckoned I'd get the back payments as bare minimum within 10 working days of them getting the form, so hopefully it may be with them by now.

Could do with a few £ extra for Christmas, to make it even more special for the girls
