Anyone think of a little quote to go on my new pendant (it has the kids names on it) has to be no more than 60 letters including spaces!

23 work tshirts hanging on the airers in the kitchen.. he's in trouble if he ever complains he hasn't got any tshirts. With the others lying around, he's got well over six weeks worth.. oh just think how long I could get away with not doing the washing for!0

Well, hold on to your hats ladies as today I made banana muffins for the first time ever in my world! :j. I don't ever bake but today I received my calling!
Quite unfortunate that DH doesn't like bananas! :rotfl:

Black and white looks very classy! I liked the first one best!oh dear, i can't believe I'm home with a child without supervision
I remember having that exact same thought when I got home with my first! :rotfl:redmel1621 wrote: »I spent a lot of yesterday in tears and miserable, convinced that I am a bad mum for going to Uni!

Aw Mel! Its the total opposite! You're being a great Mum for going to Uni! Think of the future, your boys will see Mum and Dad, who've both studied hard, are both qualified, both have great jobs which will mean better things for them!:beer:0 -
I think I like a rip off of a Robert Burns quote, 'But to see her was to love her' changed to 'but to see them was to love them'. I got time to think on it.
Better go, the little princess is crying.0 -
MFD - so cute, my big bro nicked a teddy of me when I was a baby and he had it to sleep with every night until it fell apart (I was a teenager by this point, so he would have been late teens early 20's:eek::eek::eek:) yes we did tease him mercilessly (sp).
Tried to do my shopping on line with Tesco but they don't accept Electron on line, so have printed the shopping list instead and will have to find time to do it over the weekend.
I can't believe how quickly DD's speech is picking up a couple of weeks ago it was just a few 2 word phrases now we are getting new words every day and 3-4 word phrases, it's still a bit garbled and takes some working out but we're getting there. Definitely keeping her away from DH's family for a while - swearing forms part of their vocabulary and they don't tone it down when little ears are present.

I loaned him my DSS for the journey (about an hour) with a brand new lego batman game so he barely looked up for the whole journeyAs we turned into AT I said 'we're here DSS' and he was SO excited. He said he had been really hoping that it would be AT!!!
Aw thankyou SB. I would like to say I try really hard at being a SM but he is such a sweetie that it is easy!! If anything I am the one who wants to 'push him over' to toughen him up a bit (metaphorically of course!!)
I encouraged him to push his boundaries a bit today (which TBH his mum and dad don't do - will I be the same with Benjamin???) which he loved but it would appear that it overloaded him a little!!!
He will be so so pleased to tell his friends about his braveness when he goes to school on Tuesday though!!redmel1621 wrote: »MFD - Glad you had a good day at Alton towers...I love the big roller-coasters but dh doesn't, so we don't really bother with theme parks as it is a bit boring going on rides solo.. Maybe when the boys are a bit bigger they will come on with me? Oh what happened with your tender??
I love the biggies but didn't get to go on anyDSS didn't want to go on anything that went upside down (although we went on Enterprise which he enjoyed when he opened his eyes!!) and we couldn't leave Benjamin with DSS so it was either tame rides or baby-fun all day!!!
I spent a lot of yesterday in tears and miserable
You ARE doing the right thing - repeat after me
I met up with a mum who lives a 2min walk away ...we are definitely going to meet up a lot:D
:T Yay for mummy friends :T
Kai is still restless at night, I was so tired last night I turned off the monitor shut his door and our door, so I couldn't hear his every murmur (I would have heard him if he was screaming though as the bedrooms are very close!) I managed to sleep in till 7am which is when he woke and started shouting.
I went in to get Benjamin at 5.50am this morning because he was driving me mad (over the monitor) talking and singing to himself and if I fed him he would be quiet and I could doze:rotfl:
Forgot to say earlier - YAY for baby promotion!!!
There was something else....please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Feelie - forgot to say...I love the first two tops:) I hope you find something and have a lovely day at the wedding tomorrow:)
Got to get myself to bed shortly...I am trying to be strict with myself and go to bed at 11pm each night, that way when Kai gets up at his usual 6am I have had a decent amount of sleep (albeit broken sleep)
Oh yeah the kids went back to school yesterday and are both loving it. Ds1 is sat at the top table for literacy and maths:) and he is now allowed to write in his own reading record to evaluate his own reading!! as long as I sign it. Ds2 has come on leaps and bound with his Dyslexia and although still having problems is not too far behind his year now:DUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
