emlou - yes I am Breastfeeding!!! He had a bit of formula yesterday as he wouldn't latch.
One MW was concerned I wasn't feeding him enough but the rest said it was fine. He had a 2.5 hour feed between 10pm and 12.30pm and then slept until 7am but wouldn't feed. He fed for 30mins at 10am, 10mins at 1pm and 45 mins at 5.30pm. Am hoping he will have a long feed again so he sleeps but think that's wishful thinking!!!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -

I should be catching up with the girls for a pizza tomorrow eve, but TBH I just can't be bothered. I know I'm just being a winge
Go to the gym, go to bed, long bath, pamper yourself.. anything else you're missing
Was going to suggest reading magazines and I've just remembered I've left the two I bought yesterday, along with the daily paper, in the boot of the car :doh:0 -
Glam, you need a change of sig0

Glam, they tend to sleep a lot in the first 24hrs... Sorry... Expect him to feed a lot over the next week or so, especially in a couple of days when your milk comes in... The more you feed the less likely you are to get engourged... make sure you get help with positioning if you feel you need it, give me a shout if you need any help with anything... And well done!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Getting fed up of being at home all day and then again when he goes training, feel like i've given everything up, job, gym etc where as OH's life doesn't seemed to have changed much
Awww NMSit's true, mum's life is turned on its head but dad's not quite so much
all guys can do is, try to do as much as possible for the first month or two especially, to let you learn to cope. It sounds like your OH is doing the right things, you just need to find a routine which works for you - things get easier...
MFD, yaaaay for a great Alton Towers trip:j what a great thing to have done!
And Glamazon, what a gorgeous tiny babysounds like you had a pretty positive experience, and he looks adorable
take it easy! Congratulations!
Wakeful monster child didn't nap at all today - was up non-stop from 6.30am til 7.15pm, and although he got a bit fragile in the later afternoon he was actually pretty good all day, not seeming completely over-tired or anything. Hopefully this is not a new phase though - we/OH need him to have a nap every day!
I worked from home and he was very very cute all day though, coming to visit me tottering into the study carrying a jam jar lid or a plastic spoon or a teddy, and careening off walls and random objects as he went. Once I had seen the things and played with him a bit he would usually toddle off again, or OH would come fetch him0 -
wow congrats glam i got a shock there! he must have been desperate to meet his mummy! as krystal said they sleep a lot for the first day or 2 and then feed a lot!
Erin hasnt left me alone tonight she has fed a lot since 6.30 and just fell asleep, only yesterday i thought she was going off it as she would fight me but we have had the opposite today?
*hugs* feelie i hope your ok, if you want to chat just PM me xxWhat's for you won't go past you0 -
Do some babies just drool in general?
Just this last two days, Rhys is dribbling, often with bubbles.. *trying not to think of it as foaming at the mouth!*
Jamie really started drooling around 3m and his first tooth arrived at 4m. Under his poor chin was red raw and my hv recommended a barrier cream like vasaline which worked a treat.

NMS are you ok alone? i can only agree with what the others have said and encourage you to take time out for yourself, i have had a really bad few months and having me time is a big thing that makes me feel good and you will appreciate your baby more, esp after a bad day. you will also havemore time for your OH and not be gritting your teeth that they have been out(been there and done it lol!)
hope seth is ok and your not the only one feeling bad i had left my hairdryer up and erin pulled the cord and it fell on her, she has a mark on her cheek and i feel awful. What's for you won't go past you0 -
Carla, Colief isn't a medicine but an enzyme which apparently helps colic due to lactase (or something or other! Hazy memory
). Its dropped into the milk and it worked within about 5 days with Jamie. My Dr put it on repeat prescription as its £9.99 for the tiniest little bottle!
