Is Andrew still in the inci, Tigs? It might have been a weigh / body fat thing with Rhys.. can't remember what happened to be able to move him now (think it might have just been a proactive nurse!)
Sorry, yes Elle, I meant to say ..... He's still in his incubator, and was back on the Cpap as he got over-tired during yesterday's marathon 16hr session! The room has three incis and three cots, and it's much calmer & quieter than the ICU.

Aw well everything I had bought was for newborn which starts at 9lbs!
Poor boy is drowning in his babygros at the moment!
I hadn't realised there was early baby stuff and after my scans saying he was on to be about 8lbs I hadn't even looked at it.

    I've sent you a PM ;)

Sounds fab! :D I remember feeling like there was something missing when there were no alarms going off all the time.. Those machines just seem to beep randomly when in ICU but even when you bring them with you (took five nurses to move Rhys and his CPAP and drips kit!), they seem much more relaxed once you get into HDU :D

OH just went to get Alice up for the toilet and she was asleep behind the door. Lots of crying has ensued.

:eek::eek::eek: no thank you! i remember my cousin fell up the stairs and bit through his tongue and had to go once, then the next week hit his head on the fireplace! and my other cousin fell on the same fireplace on xmas day and they all spend xmas day in the hospital getting him stitched up :rotfl:
OH bit through his tongue as a child falling down the stairs and had to have it stiched up without anaesthetic. MIL says it was horrible waiting outside and hearing him scream. He doesn't remember it though.

mmmmmmmm, i love rock cakes! my OH wouldnt hint, he would bang on the table like a child until i agreed to make them  thats what he does when he wants me to make my brownies anyway!
Turns out he'd got them out planning to make them himself after loading up the van so he got a nice suprise when he found me making them. Am now waiting for the bread to finish so we can put them in the oven.

 ALice is howling like a banshee - had better go and help...

I've been abandoned!! I' ve spent the last few day being really wingy to OH, then feeling bad for it cos he is doing everything he can but I still feel :( Getting fed up of being at home all day and then again when he goes training, feel like i've given everything up, job, gym etc where as OH's life doesn't seemed to have changed much :/
BIL has just rang for a lift cos he is in pain and has an emergency appointment somewhere over the other side of manchester - OH has had to drive him so i'm home alone again :(

    *hugs* NMS xx

What are the chances of your OH looking after Liam for a couple of hours in the evening at least one day a week so you can go out?
  • Thanks Elle - he'd do it no probs, but I wouldn't know what to do with myself  I should be catching up with the girls for a pizza tomorrow eve, but TBH I just can't be bothered. I know I'm just being a winge :p

Bloody cat! Been upstairs with caitlyn half an hour settling her down and feeding her to sleep... Just as I'm about to transfer her to the cot he cane jumping onto the bed purring and climbing all over me for a fuss... She's all awake now... I've put her in the cot anyway and she's grunting and shuffling... I'm hoping if I just lie here quiet she'll settle herself off.
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Wow Glam Congratulations! Well done you.

Em, just shows the difference when you are a 2nd time mum, Ello fell headfirst off the bed today and all I was worried about was how to get the ironing done onehanded before school pick up time!
