Uhmmm what's the Edinburgh test??? I don't recall anyone ever doing a sheet of any sort for me with any scores etc... in fact if I hadn't turned up for weighing etc the HVs wouldn't have a clue about how I was getting on (actually they don't have a clue... I don't talk to anyone most of the time and last time I went was about 3 weeks ago...)... Hmmm not that I mind - I prefer being allowed to just get on with it. If i want or need help I'll tell them but I guess the point is they don't know that... hmmmmmmmmmmm
I got one with Aimee but not until she had her 16week jabs... Not had one with Caitlyn yet, but to be honest the score I would of got a few weeks ago would of looked pretty grim compared to how I'm feeling now...

I'll share it with you if you like? I love it but hubby and Aimee won't eat it... Can't just defrost and cook it for 1 though...

Then over to The Entertainer Chris loved it because they have mini trolleys so he pushed one round and they have steps up to the counter so he could pay :T we got a chunky alphabet puzzle which I'd been looking at on another site for £3 less than I'd seen and a bunch of Fireman Sam things 1/2 price :money: coz they were selling them off to make room for newer ones. just gotta pop them on my Chrimbo spreadsheet and see where we're up to know ;)
We love the entertainer! Although I accidentally shoplifted a couple of drinks bottles last time we were in there... I'd popped them on the apron of the pram while we were looking round for something for Aimee to spend her pocket money on when she suddenly needed a wee (she only ever needs a wee suddenly) and we left to find a toilet... Forgot the bottles were on the apron...:o
Anyhoo... I'll compare the prices of the sylvanian families with Smyths where we normally get them...

That one is so much better :p!!!

It looks quite good, don't understand the description though it says it comes with a storage tray (great) and can be used with magnetic letters, do they mean the letters stick to the tray or the board? And what does this storage tray look like.....hopefully it goes on the easel so it can hold the paints etc I hope?

Could the 20% ELC codes be used on that too?

Very many congratulations! Weird thing after we saw you in Asda I said to my friend that the batch cooking would set you off, I got all ready to do some for me and never managed it as I promptly went into labour! I didn't think I'd actually be right so so well done you!

'Fraid not. I was just trying it out cos I've got nephew's birthday present on hold in my basket (as it were!), and the codes don't work on things already on offer :(

Do you think OH is trying to give me a hint? I went downstairs and found a bowl on the scales on the kitchen table and my recipe book open to rock cakes.
Susan - Ouch, was it a massive piece of glass?
No - it was actually really small and hardly showed on the x-ray. It wasn't actually very painful but I couldn't walk properly on my foot and could tell it was still in there so needed taking out.
That looks great Elle!! If only it was wooden it would be even better.....! I really love wooden toys. Plus it would match her wooden pink cooker from ELC :p
    Me too.

Hi all, haven't managed to get on much the last few days.

Glam - congratulations! Can't see the pics though for some reason :(

Tigster - so pleased Andrew is being moved! Saw the pics on your other thread, they fair made me well up :o

DS is back at school next week! Am going to start going to a boobie group near me once he's back. Have also started going to baby play and weigh too.

Am feeling a bit fed up at the mo. DH is on call until next Thursday and has been called out to Wakefield. So he's not been home yet and I've been at home all day waiting for a neighbours parcel which never came  Ended up having toast for tea as madam won't let me put her down for more than 5 minutes. DS is asleep on sofa so will need taking up to bed. Caitlyn is sleeping in fiits and starts on me in between sucking on the boob but not actually feeding. Tried a dummy again but she still won't have it!

Sorry for rant, arm aching now from one handed typing :)

Do some babies just drool in general? Just this last two days, Rhys is dribbling, often with bubbles.. *trying not to think of it as foaming at the mouth!* :o
Caitlyn's like that all the time... Hubby's convinced she's teething because she chews her fingers too... I just think she's dribbly...

Do you think a red cossatto venture stroller is worth a tenner?? I put a bid on one on ebay as a spare. Mainly to use to go down to the school, the thorns from the bushes give the XTS punctures.
I'd say any stroller that reclines is worth a tenner... More so if it has a hood and raincover...

I don't know if anyone would be interested, but at www.approvedfoods.co.uk there's a case of 6 jars of Cow and Gate "Sunday Lunch" baby food for £1. Max two cases per customer.

P&P is fairly high, but you get up to 28kg of shopping. I've just done my best to get up to 28kg, and my £33 spend was over £90 below RRP, included everything I wanted for Christmas-time food and the stuff we always bring back after Christmas, and was still only 21kg.
I love approved foods! I shall be doing another shop soon... Once I've cleared my approved foods cupboard a bit more :p
I know, I can't believe it. I only bought it a few weeks ago, but it is really right across the chest now. I know I've been overeating a bit, but didn't realise how bad. Going to stop at Evans on the way, and hope they've got something in my size that is suitable. I've got white trousers, do you think a black top would be okay if I can't find anything colourful?

    Thinking one of these:
    http://www.evans.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?catalogId=20554&storeId=12553&categoryId=166485&parent_category_rn=69555&langId=-1&top=Y
Anyone of those would be fine, especially love the kimono one... Wonder how generous Hubby would be for my birthday in London outfit ;)

He looks wonderful, well done :D
Thinking maybe a big easel type thing, whiteboard on one side, blackboard on the other, and clips on it so you could pin paper up for her to paint? Do such things exist?

Oh and Keira said to me 30minutes ago "come read me a story mummy, I need a poop!" and she did it! Think she has cracked it now, since she actually ASKED to go for a poo, and not held it in until she became constipated again. HOORAH!

I got Aimee one of those, she barely played with it apart from scribbling on it in Crayon... It's in the shed now on the off chance Caitlyn is arty...

    Well done on the poo!!!
