What do you class as sleeping throught the night? I've heard some people say it is 5 hours, others 6 hours, others more?

I'd say from 10 through to 6 so 8 hours is what I'd count as sleeping through... :)

The DLA assessment board count night time as 10pm to 8am.

Don't think I've got a hope of Rhys sleeping more than 4-5hrs at a time for a while yet cos his belly isn't big enough to take on all the milk he needs to keep going for longer!

Feelie, sorry, I know I've asked before but, where did you hire your Symphony from? I'm just looking at the prices now. Got my pay slip and work have paid up some of my hols this month so whilst I can afford it, I'm going to hire one for six weeks or so..

    I got mine from here:

Same price as my local NCT rep, so I wonder if the prices are set?

I'm sure I saw a 'hire' link on the Medela website, but it isn't working now!

I've got my new horns coming tomorrow, my new icecube trays and tubs ready, and an icecream in hand (need to clear space). All ready to have a final stockpile, then I'm going to HUTH for good.

    Ta :)

My thinking is also to up the stocks and make sure I keep going until six months then we'll see what's happening then.

Good theory on the ice cream.. think I need to have a shift around of things in the freezer. Once I've got the pump here, I'll defrost the old already in there and then put the new straight in the freezer - daren't do it before I've got the pump or else I might not get anything back in there! :(

Can you have filling things like pasta in the next hour? Not a Chinese or you'll be hungry by 10pm! What time is your GTT - aka how long til you can eat again?

mazcabs, have something like pasta etc, if you stock up on junk you will be that hungry sick way tomorrow. I made that mistake and couldn't drink all my drink, still ended up as being diabetic right enough. Good luck!!

ETA, I'm getting nothing expressing (well, 10-15mls) except huge sore purple nipples. She did have a good feed from both sides though.

Oooohh.. anyone else's LO scream out in their sleep?! Rhys has just done it twice, about ten mins apart  He's fast asleep on OH's chest, head right near OH's ear and he's just screamed but by the time I get to him, he's fast off asleep again! Baby nightmares?!
