I've finally given in today and given Reece some baby rice, he'll only be 16 weeks old on thursday. DS1 (Charlie) was 6 months before he was weaned but Reece kept watching me eat, licking his lips and it was freaking me out! He's been through growth spruts but this was so much worse. He was having a BF and then dropping off to sleep, waking up 15mins later screaming for more. Finally gave in and he had loads of it - he was scoffing away like a pro. Today I've had the most content baby ever, he's dropped off to sleeps during the day on his own, twice he slept for a whole hour even with Charlie making a racket. Cue one chilled out mummy who even managed to do some gardening for 2hrs!!!:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009

Hmmm... softfit... I've been using the soft sheild on the harmony, I might go get the plastic one and try that. I need to spend some time massaging them too, they are a bit sore (and I do not want a mastitis hat trick!).
Her little highness is waking up so better go get bedtime stuff ready for her.0 -

chopsticks wrote: »Elle - I meant to say thank you for the heads up on the baby wipes at Tesco Direct. They didn't have the Huggies left in stock, so I got the Pampers sensitive ones instead.
I didn't double up like you did, but still got 27 packs for £20 (a bargainous 74p per pack).
Only problem is that Asda's baby event is in a couple of weeks and I'm sure I'll find things that [STRIKE]I'll want to get Caitlin[/STRIKE] Caitlin will need, and we're fast running out of room to store stuff!!
Sod's law, but my double up voucher only arrived today and the wipes are OOS now! They'd better come back before the 8th when the offer finishes *stamps foot*

Is he okay after the jabs?
SIL threw a B'day party for nephew, and sent us a message on Facebook to invite us. They have a lot of family parties, but always on a Sunday and we cannot ever make a Sunday. This was a BH weekend, so we thought we might be able to make it, but I don't think I actually replied. She just send a snappy message to OH about us not turning up. Just feels a bit odd, we didn't say we'd go. We assumed it was the usual 'we are having a party, you can come if you want but we know you won't' type thing. Strangely, despite us mentioning every time that we can do Saturdays, but not Sundays, everything is still on a Sunday. We just felt like we aren't 'really invited' to things, we've never had a 'telling off' for not going before.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0
