  • I have a very cute but very tired lil lady tonight - she's had her shower and is now keeping warm in her leopard all in one but is doing a lot of arm cuddling - it's odd thats she's tired though as she slept from 5pm to 6pm!

Only been able to read the last 2 pages

Is he okay after the jabs?

SIL threw a B'day party for nephew, and sent us a message on Facebook to invite us. They have a lot of family parties, but always on a Sunday and we cannot ever make a Sunday. This was a BH weekend, so we thought we might be able to make it, but I don't think I actually replied. She just send a snappy message to OH about us not turning up. Just feels a bit odd, we didn't say we'd go. We assumed it was the usual 'we are having a party, you can come if you want but we know you won't' type thing. Strangely, despite us mentioning every time that we can do Saturdays, but not Sundays, everything is still on a Sunday. We just felt like we aren't 'really invited' to things, we've never had a 'telling off' for not going before.
He seams fine, was really sleepy just after but has been as usual this evening and is now asleep, I'm just deciding weather to try the TT hand pump or just wake him up for a feed around midnight...

Sounds strange, I hate it when people invite you to things on facebook coz you can't ignore it without them knowing:rolleyes: but if she didn't say it was special how are you to know??!!
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

AM and caz need a bit of support and a hug, but we can't keep Feelie in these days :D

MOTM's DD16 got awesome GCSE results and Button's Keira had her first day at nursery today :)

    Still thinking...

    Helloooooooooooooooo! :j
    I missed you :)

Awwww - I missed you (all) too!

We stayed with my Uncle and Aunty in their absolutely gorgeous, huge, child-free house! Its only 40 minutes outside Dublin City - but it might as well be on a remote island. They have no gas, no broadband, occasional dialup!, and the nearest shop is an hour round trip - in the car!
Also, about an hour before we arrived on Thursday, they had a note through the door telling them not to use the water! So, we've used boiled bottled water for Violet all weekend - Is that ok? I couldn't get on internet for long enough to ask you knowledgable lot!

We went horseriding on Friday - and i've ached ever since!

Violets sleeping pattern has gone out of the window - she really didn't like the travel cot, but, she's gone to bed tonight quite happily.
She's perfected the crawling while we were away - and got her first bumped head after crawling under the coffee table.

    Anyhows..........enough from me! :o

Ah that's so sweet. Glad Alice hasn't said that to me though - her latest one has a Heffalump on it!

haha dont worry jake used to point at fiona out of shrek and say 'mama' cheecky sod im not that bad!!:rotfl:

    hope everyones well?

buttons glad kiera enjoyed her first day, i can imagine jake having a strop when we leave after his first day, he already has a paddy when we walk past and he cant go in!

i think im turning a corner with jake, not only is he pooing in his potty but he's actually started drinking milk!! thank god for nesquick! im been having to give him plenty yoghurts/cheese to get calcium down his neck!

i think jasmines bottom two teeth are cutting through, shes not been very happy today and i can see two lines on her gums so am expecting them in the next few days!

sleeping through, i think id class 10pm til after 6 (but 6 is far to early still!! we all get up between 8and9:o) jasmine sleeps after her bottle at 7.30 till about 8ish, so i know am very lucky with her, though the past few nights shes been moaning for her dummy quite a few times!

feeling good, i would have thought they would have sent a text or rang with a proper invite? i dont normally check those facebook ones anyway, i would assume if no reply that they weren't coming.

I know why you thought of me :D I can see how they might be useful, but too much faffing for me!! Can you imagine trying to clean them

Good on you for realising you know best :D You probably get more (well meaning) interference than most and I know it is not easy to do your own thing sometimes.

Teeth are evil aren't they? Any showing yet? We are still all gummy!

I had to wash one of Benjamin's Elephants after the sicky episode yesterday and I have just gotten him out of the dryer...hubby is convinced I have shrunk him

It wouldn't be the first precious thing I have shrunk - I have a reputation for shrinking expensive jumpers...I bought Benjamin a little v neck jumper the other day and when I showed hubby he said 'OMG you haven't shrunk ANOTHER one of my jumpers have you' Cheeky !!!!!!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

re the teething -- we have had one showing from about 3 months. it started showing at the front first and then up slightly, but it has not broken through yet. well i hope it's brken through tonight as we had another hour of screaming the poor little mite.

your husband must have seen that maltesers ad too many times :D
