Awww your like an angel, but I think the halo is really a whip :rotfl:

Is it bad to say that I am really actually very bored? I dress my baby in a pretty dress in the morning and then she just sleeps with the occasional feed till about 7pm when she decides to wake up for a few more feeds and thats all she does? I miss college and being busy doing stuff. Housework just doesnt do it for me anymore. :rotfl:

I tired to get fresh with DH last night and just as things started to get interesting, she decided to do a very noisy poo with lots of grunting and really taking her time over it.

Tia, did you have a C-section? I'm desperate for grown up time but I thought you were supposed to wait six weeks.

Why then does Amber go 4-5 hours without waking then only feed for 10-20mins?

The monster does pretty much the same thing, although she uses the breast as a comforting thing for a while after she's finished eating and I'm never sure when the exact point is that she's finished feeding and started sucking. She does fling herself backwards when she's done with both, unlatching with arms wide open, wide wind-smile and wrinkly forehead. It's the cutest thing.

  • Bruno - it just occurred to me. Benjamin sleeps on the sofa during the day, either that or in our bed. He just doesn't seem to want to go down in his cot and I don't want him to associate his cot with negative things which could jeopardise his sleeping at night.

It means that I have to be quiet, I have to watch him and I can't get many chores done (bummer!!) but he does go off well and we are both happy. I just put him on a blanket on the end of the sofa and sit with him (ignoring him!) until he drops off.

Would relaxing the whole process be a possibility?

The ikea one!! We have it and it is fab - so easy to clean!
It doesn't look very comfortable but Benjamin loves it and it was less than 15 quid :money:

    Edit - the Ikea Antilop:

You can buy a tray for it for a couple of quid.

    Hi all..

*hugs* for the Bruno household! :(

The hospital didn't seem to know anything about an appointment for the blood test - hope I got the right day! :o - but they did it eventually once they could track down a doctor. Rhys was very good, just had a good kick about whilst we were waiting for he's zonked out now :D Bumped into the consultant we'd missed last week and she's well impressed too :D Next appointment with her came through this morning for mid-Oct and an appointment for a brain scan in early Sept too :)

OH will be finishing work in half an hour, then we've got to do some tidying up to do. Was thinking about a leisurely walk to the shops but it's lashing down here so I think that's off!

i've got the red kite one you get in asda, it was £25 and havent got any complaints. the tray doesnt come off but hey it was £25! its nice and padded and wipes clean easily.

we are apparantly not having a happy day here in seth towers! he keeps crying cos he's tired but wont nap for longer than a few seconds. its a combination of teeth and me being a evil mummy that put the bars up on the cot cos he kept rolling onto me last night  he normally naps on my bed in the day but i want him to get used to the cot before tonight if possible. if he's tired enough, he will sleep. thats the theory anyway...

ETA: he slept precisely for long enough for me to write that this time
