Sugar and Tia, those fluttery sucks are another way baby uses to boost your supply when they're done feeding...
Mfd, it's ok, I knew what you meant about the kids going back to school... I completely agree btw... I took Aimee to the park yesterday with my aunt and her boys and all you could hear was effing and jeffing, does my head in... (I guessed wednesfield, my nana lives just off the Lichfield road... Incidentally, I'm not that far away, the willenhall side of Walsall...)A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Is that just because she'll need more as she grows or could I be not producing enough? I find it so hard not knowing how much she's eating, although I can feel and see that she's putting on weight. It doesn't help that when people see her the first thing they say is always, Ohhh, she's so small! Of course she's small. She's a baby.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

And that really can't mean Toby needs/wants more milk!
Krystal, random question.
Would you say it would be worthless, giving a brand new, newborn baby some breastmilk for an older baby?
Say my friend had a newborn, would my stashed milk from a 3 month old Toby have any benefit to that baby, or would baby be better off going straight on to formula?Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
if he'll be sitting at the table with all of you (which is a good idea IMO) give him a bit of fruit to [STRIKE]fling round[/STRIKE] eat it should keep him occupied and maybe get some vitamins into the poor thing
Do you remember the banana incident - when OH gave the LO a banana and neither LO nor his mum knew what to do with it?
Unfortunately we haven't got a table atm. Got rid of the old one but have picked the new one and are going to Ikea, minus Rhys, to collect it in a few weeks. Must be before 20th Sept as I've got a £10 off (wys £60) voucher valid until then!0 -
Escaped! its not that bad !
depends on where you are!! We moved so we could afford to get a house with a garden. if we'd stayed we would have been living in a flat (not that theres anything wrong with that!) and had to move once our boys came along:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009

Don't worry sugar, as long as she's feeding then you will be making enough milk, it's all about body signals and as long as that baby is on the breast it is creating signals for your body to create milk, also once your supply settles down and your breasts soften up, a lot of women panic then that they're not making enough milk... That's how they are supposed to be though... Fattier milk comes from a soft breast...
Feely, the age of your baby is irrelevant if you're donating your milk, it will still be nutriciously good enough for a new born... If you think about it, a lot of milk donated to milk banks is from women with babies of various ages and then given to a wide range of babies... Is your friend happy for the donation? Some people can be funny about it, my sister went nuts once when I offered to feed my nephew (so I always offered Tongue in cheek whenever he cried) but my friend and I had an agreement that we'd feed each others children if they needed it and one of us wasn't around... We never needed to in the end, but she did offer to feed caitlyn the other day jokingly... Her 2yo just weaned so she still has milk...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... oing my best to catch up - I have a MANIC day. I'm half way through though the list seems to be growing....Milliesmum, I would have just made up a review and passed them on...
I have to confess that i think this is wrongI read the review when researching things so wouldn't like to think they were made up. Re: the products, if you aren't prepared to use them on your LO then you should email bb. However, it would be an intersting experiment to see what effect they did have and you would be able to give a review based on that. However I totally see your reluctance to use them on your LO.

Not sure if we are going in Europe or not ATM but will apply anyway. Thanks MacSmiler
ours came within 72 hours but best to have just in case
Bruno - I think your OH needs someone to talk to.....
Also, does she belong to any forum? I have been very lucky both with Benjamin and myself (IYSWIM - we can all be prone to issues) but at the same time I would have gone mad without being able to come and chat on here and air my problems/vent/rant/worry etc. Does your wife have a network of virtual support like you do? .....
I suggested that a girl joined an internet forum at Booby Club this afternoon. A few people looked at me like I was mad but TBH - who gets full on 24 hour a day support from anywhere else like they get from here??....
Bruno - I second what was said above. mse really has helped me - if not just practically, it makes me think about what's bugging me by making me type what's wrong IYKWIM. Sometimes its not what you would first think either which opens my eyes and often helps me resolve things. I also often think - what would I say if it was someone else asking the same question and it gives me an idea of what i should do.
buttons - I didn't know berghaus was a chav brand?!r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0
