Does that mean you feel more ok about a little gap before baby number 4? Or are you still thinking that one through with DH?

I don't even know which side of Scotland Aberdeen is on? Mind you, could be bang in the middle for all I know..
I'm usually quite good with geography, but I don't think I've ever been further north than Manchester!
I always refer to my location as "up here" but i'm only a southerner to the ScotsI'm near Durham!
Totally unrelated to parenthood, but i just wondered if anyone dyes their hair, and if so, are they like me and never ever remember which colour/number they last used :rotfl:
Everytime i do mine i seem to go a shade lighter cos i never remember what i last used. My hair is probably a multitude of shades, you'd think i would learn to keep a section of the box but no!You lot talk too much and I'm really busy again and struggling to keep up
Has anyone noticed it's getting colder lately? James and me both have raynauds so we feel the cold, but I'm too stingy to put the heating on in August. We've got a thermometer on a fridge magnet and he keeps pointing out it's only 12°C on a morning in the kitchen, but I keep telling him to put a jumper on if he's coldAny question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

I used to live in Northwich many years ago. I lived in at wincham hall hotel - is it still there?feelinggood wrote: »Someone is in Winchester aren't they? Thats my nearest, but still 35 miles away.
That'll be me. Em is in Portsmouth/Fareham type area too, but I think that is about it for southerners... Plus Bruno in London of course.
Bruno - a couple of other things I thought of last night while I was trying to sleep (see, I don't stop thinking about you all either!) - we are in a flat too, so have no-where to go if I eant to put Izzy down and get away from the crying. But I discovered yesterday if the washing machine is on I can shut the kitchen door and I can't hear a peep. Might be worth a try.
Also, round here there are one or two HVs who know about sleep training. Even if you LH doesn't feel ready to ask for help for herself just yet, maybe you can see if a HV will come out to talk to her about the sleep training part of it, then see how you get on with from there?
Anyhow, must put this sleeping baby down, get the washing on and then we are going on a walk to the allotment to pick stuff and maybe water too if it needs it. Normally I drive round there, but it's only a mile and my only other plan for the day is to clean the bathroom. It's exciting here

Talking of Northwich, me and OH managed to get lost at the Anderton Boatlift and ended up on the wrong side of a river. In the end we climbed over a fenced off, unfinished bridge. I blame OH, I've got a great sense of direction.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

I'm near Durham too. I'm only from Teeside originally but my brother used to tell me I'd gone to Scotland.
Never dyed my hair myself but could you write it on the calendar?
I live closer to Teeside than Durham actually but it's usually easier to say near Durham to strangers
Writing it down would be tooooo sensible, maybe it's the side effect of being blonde. I'd quite like to go back to my natural colour, which is a slightly darker shade of blonde, but i've dyed it so light now that it looks a mess when my roots come through0 -

Thank You - I am pleased I got the course I wanted:)
No, I don't really feel that much better about waiting for baby 4, BUT I do/would feel bad about forcing another baby onto dh.....I mean, he has always been fully supportive every time I have announced a pregnancy to him and considering he has never really been desperate for children himself.
He has also said he is not ruling out another baby altogether...he just doesn't want one right now. SO I must stop nagging at him as I realise I am putting him in an awkward situation making him feel guilty for saying no all the time, when he already knows how much I want another baby and how soon I would love to have one, I am sure I don't need to tell him.
This is my attempt to put another baby to the back of my mind for a while and concentrate on the 3 wonderful children I have got and also 'try' to get myself qualified at the same time.

Bruno I'm so sorry that your OH is struggling and aware too that that isn't easy for you, always having to be supportive and patient, when perhaps you might want to have a meltdown too every now and again
I hope that gives you a possible starting placeKeep letting us know how you both are?
Love weezl x
Thanks weezlyes, hoping I can get her talking to someone but at least me; and it may be down to roots along those lines, but in which case I probably won't be sufficient "counter-position". We'll see. Your post much appreciated
all fine this morning, mornings are the good times, but I am working from home again in fear of lunchtime nap action...

Morning all..
Rhys slept from 8.30pm to 12.30am, then fed and went back down quickly - hurrah! Then he woke up at 4.15am, was fed, changed and then just wanted to play.. grrr! He didn't want to lie with me calmly, just wanted to practise pushups on my chest, sticking his head up, looking around and shrieking  All very lovely, just not at 5am! OH took him off me at 6am, then I got to sleep until 8.30am.
We're off out in a minute for more blood tests. Oddly, just had the specialist on the phone, just phoning me to see how he is apparently!
Thankyou tiaI can see the same happening to some of the babies who were on the Unit at the same time as Rhys (like the ones who's parents only visited once or twice a week!), it's just that we don't feel like we do anything more with Rhys than you would with a normal baby
Righty, best get the rugrat dressed.. OH's mate coming for tea tonight - not exactly sure what they're 17mth old is going to do all evening! Hopefully not trash my house! (apparently he's eating before they leave home.. OH has forbidden me to ask what he has had for tea!)
