MrsT, sometimes they just need a good old wail.

Trying to talk DS2 into walking to the school, he wants to take the car, but it's raining so no point as we'll still have to walk most of the way anyway.

when my LO is overtired and struggling to put herself to sleep her cries start off as normal upset crying and then settle into a more mmmaaaaa mmmaaaaa mmmmmaaaaaa sound - when I hear it I know to just keep stroking her hair or hold her close, rub her back etc as she's nearly there ;)

It's sore on the head though isn't MrsT? How are you today apart from the screaming?

I'm much better thanks to a full nights sleep last night :) I think if she'd woken me during the night I'd be a lot moer frazzled than I am... we have Mmmm Mmmmm mwwahhhhhh sounds from upstairs now... might go up and re-apply Raffi and dummy and see if she'll nod off properly :)

Thanks for all the love, PM's, facebook messages and virtual hugs. It's been lovely to know that I'm important to you on here. I'm sorry if I worried you.

I'm sorry I can't share more about what's gone wrong. I really trust all of my parent club friends, but MSE has such a wide audience...

I've got one of those horrible hangover from crying for hours headaches today. :(

I just wanted you all to know I'm still here, sad but still here!

yay the beast sleeps! I went up and she was actually wide awake - so stuck her in her sleeping bag, which caused much wailing! Stuck a dummy in her mouth mid wail and placed Raffi on her chest. She clamped down on the dummy yanked Raffi over her head and closed her eyes and went out like a light! Odd child!
