yeh, that was my thinking. i know nights r gettin much better. it just seems by the time ive fed him, burped him, changed his nappy, made up bottles, got him to sleep etc, im not left with much sleep time. i guess i should nap more dring the day when he does.
tomos used to be terrible when he was breast fed. i mean terrible. i would have o spend the whole night up with him, + im not exaggerating.

Thank You for coming back and letting us know you are ok(ish)
Like Tine said, we are probably all trying to guess what could have happened...maybe some of us have had a similar thing and could chat with you about it....if you want to of course.

Feel free to send some pm's if you are up to it

Agree with that. Chances are one of us has been through similar. I hope you have someone to talk to and take comfort from, on here or in real life. Remember there is also the Samaritans, it isn't just for people who are suicidal. You can call them on 08457 90 90 90 or send them an email jo@samaritans.org. Just make sure you have some support.

    ((Hugs)) to you.

Could you perhaps rejig things to make the most of his asleep time.

Does he need changing in the night? Does he pooh? If he just has a wet nappy, you could leave him once or twice in the night. What about using a readymade carton of formula at night? Keep that, and a sterile bottle, next to the cot and feed him there and put him straight back down?

thats not a bad idea as i wouldn't have to wait for a bottle to warm up. may try it next week as im going to stay with the MIL and don't fancy going up + down stairs (i live in a flat so not so bad ay home). Might try to get away without a nappy change. its only wee but they get so very heavy. he must pee like a racehorse.

    thanx 4 the idea.

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Oh, and do make sure you rest. Even if you don't fancy a nap, a lie down on the sofa is always good. Tell yourself off if you find you are pottering and doing things. Have a proper, horizontal lie on the sofa at least once a day!

Hope you're doing ok Weezl, if you need/want to talk somewhere more private there's always the fb group as that's a closed group so you could, in theory, talk freely. *hugs* though.

    And well done Mel :-)

Jvic, to present the worst case scenario, you do get used having naff all sleep eventually! Celia is eleven months and has never slept through (the world will know when she finally does) and although I'd flog her on ebay for some decent kip I am pottering along relatively sanely!

i def need to do this. i do find, if he's quietthen i use the time to do dishes, ironing etc but its taking its toll. and i still feel guilty cos the place is messy.
