Pop man delivers nothing but pop... 1 litre glass bottles of all flavours, 12 for a fiver... In itself, it's not a bad deal... But we weren't getting through 12 bottles of pop in a week... We weren't even getting through them in a month so it seemed a bit pointless having it... And to be honest, I'm not normally a shy person when it comes to telling people no... But there's something about this fella... Can't put it into words really... But I just don't want to tell him no lol...
Just popped Caitlyn into Aimee's door bouncer... She seemed to like it... But has this habit of leaning backwards so she didn't look particularly comfortable or safe... Might give it another week or so and try her again... She's lying under the baby gym now shouting at the monkey.... Going to have to wean her off it soon though, I only borrowed it from the breastfeeding group while it was closed for summer and it starts back again in a couple of weeks... Hubby wants to buy her one, but I think it would be a waste of money at this point... Once she's mobile she won't bother with on.. I said I'm going to see if I could carry on borrowing this one and just take it down on a Monday morning with nobody minding...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I love Christmas! All my shopping is done except for the wine/stollen/lebkuchen/sausages we'll bring over and I'll buy that in November or December. The wine gets ordered in October and delivered with a couple of spare bottles to keep my mother away from the good stuff :rotfl:
The monster's not getting any presents because she'll only be four months old and have no idea what's going on. If she shows an interest I'll give her some paper to play with. On my Christmas list: two parents, one brother, one husband, my coven of female friends (4) and one male friend. The family tradition is to operate almost a pyramid scheme: one really good present, two or three less good ones and a bunch of entertaining or useful but cheap tat (underwear, socks, toiletries etc come under this category).
We also have the tradition of the Box. Everyone has a maximum of £5 to spend on four items, and they get wrapped, numbered and dropped in the box, which my mother makes every year in a fancy Christmas shape. Last year it was a reindeer, previous times it's been a nativity scene or a Santa. We each draw numbers and get the corresponding present and the aim of the game is to produce the most ridiculous and cheapest piece of tat imaginable. My dad won last year with a banana slicer he bought for 10p at a boot sale. Husband is going after the prize this year with a vengeance but won't tell me his plans.
I meant to make a list of things to buy last night and went to sleep instead. I shall do that while the monster is sleeping.
Is everyone ok today?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

That sounds fun Sugar!
My Mum has this tradition of filling a 'stocking' for everyone... Usually a christmas gift bag full of cheap smelly stuff and random tat... I find it handy... It becomes my gift for BIL GF the next yearA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... YAY, well done you! :T Which course - was it Education or Creative Writing? Are you now creatively writing your "I'm not coming back, hurrah!" letter for work?Buttonmoons wrote: ».. Elle - I had a dream about you last night, weird I know, but Rhys was in hospital and we were going there with some curry sauce and rice, as that was all he wanted to eat?? Isn't it odd how we can dream about people we have never even met.
Aww blessI haven't had any dreams I can remember for ages!
I've been snuggled on the sofa with Rhys all morning, he's loving being wrapped up on a fleecy blanketHe strokes and pulls at the hair in the back of his head a lot and he put his hand on the back of my head (by accident, I assume) and was stroking my hair instead

Hi, just thought i'd pop in
I'm thinking about getting DS a Nintendo DSfor Xmas. He'll be 6 and a half, and he'll love it but i have been saying no to one cos of his age. Got him a V Smile Cyber last yr and it's quite rubbish tbh, the games don't have much scope and get boring within 30 mins lol
Btw did you see baby Tigs update a few mins ago, he's off the ventilator :T:T http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=24543601#post24543601
Hi BeenieCat I bought a DS for my daughter who will be 7 in November in tesco on Fri at £70, don't know if they are still at this price but I know they were on sale at £75 last week but scanning through till at £70. 61/2 is a perfect age for a DS my daughter and her twin brother loved their older sister's last Christmas.

Thank You all:D
I am excited yes, and a bit apprehensive that I am going to be able to do it, while still spending enough time with the kids.
It is the Education course...the one I really wanted (although not the uni I really wanted but will see how it goes, I may be able to transfer uni's in the 2nd year;))
And Elle...I was just doing my hair to go the shops whilst daydreaming about all the different ways I can drop the bombshell at work!!!
Just going to the shop.....I really fancy a pot noodle:o

Then,
I'm off to collect the in-laws up from the airport this afternoon. FIL is a policeman, and I really hate driving with him in the car! He makes me feel guilty!I've been snuggled on the sofa with Rhys all morning, he's loving being wrapped up on a fleecy blanketHe strokes and pulls at the hair in the back of his head a lot and he put his hand on the back of my head (by accident, I assume) and was stroking my hair instead
Its also quite handy as I don't have to carry around a manky comfort blanket, his hair is always on his head:rotfl:0
