Bitsy, i wasn't objecting to a weekly, i don't mind either way, what i am objecting to is the fact that it shouldn't be them who decide. Yes i have refrained from posting what i really want to say to them, and in the real world i would have. But i observe the 'please be nice'. Unfortunatly it seems that confrontation is the only language they understand. When other people have tried to be nice or ask a question they get ignored.

If we do have a weekly, there is no gurantee that they will not still be snide and nasty. Take the bikini wax thread where gottochange made 'orrible remarks on there. She can't help herself. The point i was trying to make is that whatever is decided it shouldn't be done beacause of those two. Becasue they won't go away (despite several threats of not posting anymore)

I agree the whole thing is ruining the vibes of the board, and yes it is about much more that Fashion, it's about making the most of what you have. God we need some mse team intervention!!!!!

Well then lets have a weekly thread.
If snide posts are continued to make then we can take the matter futher. At least you can say you made an effort to compromise.

Its not just those two though is it?

I object strongly to your daily threads I just dont bother making comment on them, I complain directly to MSE towers

So who is the " them and us" you are referring to?

How do you know the "them" arent outnumbering the "us" ?

I do find your arguments very reminiscent of the playground.

This is an open forum. You can not control who posts what where. You either work with it, make change - or go

    Simple really

Didn't realise we were answerable to you:confused:
You are not but neither am I to you. this is why a sensible debate was needed but you dont seem to have the ability or know you will lose as you havent got a good argument to start with

Your the only one doing the hijacking in my opnion mate
So where have I hijacked this thread I have done my best to put up reasonable suggestion where all can have what they want. The only argument against it so far was some pathetic person saying that they shouldnt take any notice because it wasnt their idea. How sad can you get. It may be that myself and got to change are the most vocal but you have just seen the views from Suki and I am sure there are plenty of others.
Who I am is not important. What I do is.

But i don't want to argue with anyone, and what i was saying was that the contributors should make the decision, not the opposers. Anyhow hope your well today on your moral highground, i choose my battles and i actually don't think this is one worth fighting:p See ya

Why should it be only the contributors to those threads?

Does that mean I have to make useless posts to the threads in order to be validated as a user to this forum?

Surely with this being an open forum we all have a voice?

After sleeping on this I've come to the conclusion that ab & GTC dont want us on here that is why they are disrupting the fashion thread with their "comments"

We have asked for a separate section for us "fashionista's" to post and the PTB have decided that here we must post. I dont see any other forum posters complaining so streniously (yes I know suki has voiced her opinion against - just before ab & GTC wade in!!) although I think they would be the first to complain if we hi-jacked their threads!!

Surely it dont matter if there is a daily or weekly thread, the daily is more convenient and as another poster ssaid it gives a bit of variation as we all change our clothes from day to day and if there was a long thread, some posters may be put off my wading through pages and pages!! Obvious solution is to have a daily thread!! I will however go with the general concensus!!
total airhead, total bimbo, very superficial:D

I dont get this " hi jacking"?

Whats "hi jacking" about posting a comment? Surely the "hijacking" comes in when you answer, !!!!! and whine - therefore "hijacking " your own threads by diverting them from topic?

Hey Ive even reported some of AB's posts and had them removed as being rather contentious - as is my right as a board user. Im sure he is as grown up as me and understands that his opinions may not be mine and Im more then entitled to either discuss or report the posts.

YOU ALL have that same right - either ignore the comment, report it under the rules, or discuss the points raised in an adult grown up manner.

So far all Im seeing here is a "them and us" mentality and a lot of bullying accusations

    All kinds of wrong!

I had already been posting before suki made her input (although I am heartily relieved to see it) and did not "wade in" (God, you lot have a charming turn of phrase when roused) afterwards. I have (annoyingly) been reading and posting here since early this morning.

And yes, it DOES blummin' matter if it's daily or weekly - for all the reasons stated. (suki's was a new one to me as I have high-speed broadband but you have totally overlooked it.)

I am not sure if selfish can be applied to a group of people but that's what I am seeing here. I don't want to stereotype but it's not surprising me.
