A very fashionable suggestion

Ok, in simple words that cannot be misunderstood and apologies for shouting but if you do not like them, I suggest that you DO NOT READ THEM.0 -
Reasons why not to change to a weekly thread?
Why succumb to bullying?
Why be stubborn for the sake of it?
Why 'reward' bad behaviour?
Who is being rewarded for bad behaviour. the main beneficiary is the people who like posting what they are wearing
Why do the majority (over 300 views for a daily thread usually) have to change at the whim of an over-controlling minority?
Why not lose the lemming principle for a minute and let common sense prevail?
Apart from those reasons, I really wouldn't care. But I care very much about those reasons.
Now how about telling us why the thread cant just be one long one instead of lots of little iones which give some people the impression rightly or wrongly that the health and beauty board is being taken over.
Do you think we should have daily threads for all the different diet threads or daily heath issues threads?Who I am is not important. What I do is.0 -

STOP SHOUTING IN MY THREAD!!!
And thank you, absolutebounder (yes, I really did type those words! :rotfl:) - I was trying to bit a little bit sensible with this thread, because the constant bickering and jibing spoils it for everyone and is not necessary.
I take all points of view and all opinions. Although it seems we haven't quite reached an agreement!0 -
I still don't understand why this arguement is still going on - we have been allocated to this board and while it may not be perfect there isn't anything we can do about it!
I don't really see what difference it makes if there is a daily, weekly, or ongoing fashion chat thread - the daily one falls off the first/second page as soon as a new one comes along anyway so it's hardly cluttering up the board.
I think the only way we are ever going to get our own sub board is by having MORE fashion/clothes threads, so in my opinion the 'opposition' should just take no notice of what they don't like until we hopefully get a fashion sub board.
I also don't understand why these people that are complaining about the fashion threads keep posting on them?!
I also agree with Glowgirl's point about not responding to them until they get bored and leave these threads alone!

This is far more typical of "bullying" mindset than anything I have said.
One point I would make is try taking a look at the Exercise & Fitness thread; which you might think would belong on the H&B board as much as Fashion. It is one long thread, populated and contributed to by the same users in general. Makes perfect sense.
Much as I hate the Power of the Plural mentality, it won't change my viewpoint. Feel free to ignore me.0 -

Well, it should end with three leader dots, as discussed...
I was joking. Feel free to shout, scream, rant and rave as desired.0 -
