I don't know how relevant this might be but..................whilst I was looking for a full time job over Xmas, I took a part-time job with the Royal Mail. From Day 1 any casual temporary worker is allowed to carry 'signed for' mail, after it's delivered the customers signature(on the postmans card) is returned to the sorting office, and then the online database is updated to indicate delivery - when everything goes to plan.
Many times the leading postman, who's job it is to update the database, can't be bothered, doesn't have time or doesn't receive the signed for card back off the postmen. The first time I mislaid this signed card following quite heavy usage, I was expecting a major bo****king, but was told to keep quiet and forget about it. There is no importance attached to this kind of delivery.
However, Special Delivery, admittedly a much more expensive option, cannot be delivered by anyone but a fully trained postie, and these items are regarded with such high regard that the loss of paperwork associated with this type of delivery is a sackable offence.
I guess what I'm trying to say is don't rely on the 'Signed For' service, although if it doesn't make the RM database it doesn't mean the postie hasn't done his job. I usually cost in the price of Special Delivery at £4 per time with any cashback offers, and look for ones which require less claims in the period.
Sorry for rambling, please be gentle, first post and all the rest.

I have had the very same problem with the Wednesbury postcode. I sent my chequeback claim to WS10 7WZ over 3 weeks ago and its still not been signed for. I had to raise 2 queries on the interactive helpdesk as i couldn't get through on the phone. The second time i threatened to advise trading standards of the problems encountered, i was contacted by a lady at E2save who advised me to send a copy of my bill to their Loughborough address. I sent this by recorded delivery and has been signed for, but i still haven't received a text to say that my chequeback is being processed.
I can feel another email coming on at this rate.
You shouldn't have to go through all this to get a cashback from them!!!

Like you, I cannot get through to them on the phone...nor can I find this 'interactive helpdesk'. I have been on the site and everywhere I end up tells me to ring the 0845 number. Please help!

I have just recently had the RM log my claim for non delivery, despite being sent recorded, but presto,my cheque turned up a few days ago,and is now working it's way through the banking system.

And I made a complaint to RM for loss of delivery, and today received a 12 book of first class stamps by way of compensation.

    Double result.

I posted my claim forms on the 25th May. Sent by recorded delivery but RM didn't track like everyone else. Cheque finally arrived today. That's the last of th e 3 payments.

All in all went very well and would use e2save again.

I rang the 0845 number a few days back and got through straight away. No waiting at all and they confirmed they'd received my claim.

The two addresses, as they appear in the Royal Mail Postcode Address File, are
    C P W Logistics Centre
    PO Box 4259
    WEDNESBURY
    WS10 7WZ
    and
    The Carphone Warehouse Ltd
    C P W Logistics Centre
    Unit 4-5
    Wednesbury Trading Estate
    WEDNESBURY
    WS10 7JN
The 7WZ address is almost certainly forwarded to the 7JN address. But, mixing the 7JN postcode with the PO Box is a bad idea, especially as WS10 7JN covers a large number of companies, and the address you were gaven doesn’t start with any company name. “PO Box 4259” coupled with “WEDNESBURY” should be more than enough to ensure that mail gets to its correct destination. However, I’d be more confident with the TWZ postcode, because, as Mike said, it’s just pain incorrect. With the 7JN postcode, there’s a risk of the mail being taken straight to the trading estate, without the bagging up and re-addressing that goes on with a PO-Box forwarding, then ending up being handed over to the wrong company.

It does seem that the original incorrect postcode has got out and about. There’s even a link to a leaflet on the Carphone Warehouse website.

It seems that Carphone Warehouse cashbacks (thats 60 day claim time) should go to postcode 7WZ.

The 7JN postcode is used for E2save and Caphone Warehouse Express / Clearance customers (all have a 30 day claim time)

Address suplied on voucher is still not delivered & royal mail are as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

Phoned today & told as if it was my fault to send to new postcode as it's a larger office.

Am i missing something but surely e2save can't dish out misleading info by giving out wrong addresses on their cashback leaflets.

I sent my recorded cashback claim on the 23rd june and E2save are saying it hasn't been delivered. phone RM and they say it's also hasn't been delivered. What should i do? E2save say I have to wait 45 days and then send in the recorded delivery slip to claim the cash back but what happens if that goes missing as well?
