IIRC i've got cashback from E2Save 4 months back, which sent to "WS10 7WZ"
The above company is different from Phones4u, note the missing 's' in the website link!0 -
I have had the very same problem with the Wednesbury postcode. I sent my chequeback claim to WS10 7WZ over 3 weeks ago and its still not been signed for. I had to raise 2 queries on the interactive helpdesk as i couldn't get through on the phone. The second time i threatened to advise trading standards of the problems encountered, i was contacted by a lady at E2save who advised me to send a copy of my bill to their Loughborough address. I sent this by recorded delivery and has been signed for, but i still haven't received a text to say that my chequeback is being processed.
I can feel another email coming on at this rate.
You shouldn't have to go through all this to get a cashback from them!!!0 -
I personally would'nt go for these cash back deals.Sounds like too many terms and conditions of when and where to send back bills.I usually look for deals which credit discount direct to your account(hard to find now- i admit!), which saves all the messing around.0

I'm still getting no response from royal mail on a recorded delivery addressed to WS10 7WZ... and loads of people on another forum i read are having the same problem.
Do we have a definitive answer on which is the best place to send cashback claims of the 3/4 possible options?stay lucky!

ok well i emailed e2save about this, and despite it not showing up on royal mails website, i got a call from a lady to say that the forms had all been received fine and that my chequeback was already on its way!

Hi
This is from the e2save website, it tells you which bill to send according to the month when you purchased your phone, and the address to send it to, I hope this helps some people...

my last two cashback claims sent via recorded delivery have not been logged on the royal mail website. Royal mail say these letters are classed as lost. However, i have still received my cashback from carphone warehouse. There arent as dodgy as ppl make out lol.
BIG HOWEVER, i had exactly the same problem as the first post on this thread. I was given the wrong postcode and as a result royal mail couldnt guarantee that any of them would have actually been delievered. Luckily i have got all my money back.0 -
Had a call from e2save today saying my check was being sent out. I think i may have misjudged e2save and I think that the majority of the problem is down to the Royal Mail website not accurately reporting which recorded delivery items have been delivered. Having different postcodes in different places doesn't help e2save though.
For info:
- I sent my claim to the newish WS10 7WZ address.
- I didn't include vouchers or anything as they weren't part of the original deal.
- I have yet to recieve any text message or anything, though it is still within the 45 days e2save say hey will respond in.
- Royal Mail site is still not showing the delivery, even though it was sent weeks ago.
- I typed in a query on their web site and got a call back about 2 days later.
- I sent the april bill even though the website said march.. as the april one was the 12th one.
Seems to be more of a royal mail problem than an e2save one.. and i gotta say that if i hadn't paid extra to send it recorded delivery then i'd have had none of this worry and the cheque would just have arrived in a few days without bother.stay lucky!

A word of warning if sending the cashback claim by Recorded Delivery, you will not be able to claim for the value of the voucher, only a book of first class stamps, Royal Mail advise that if it's of monetry value it must be sent by Special Delivery.
My theory on why you can't seem to get the confirmation of e2save receiving your Recorded Delivery is would the postman really wait while an e2save employee signs for all the RD letters they receive each day, i think not.
I experienced the not signed for routine on the RM website, sent e2save an email and received a text message, email and voicemail saying they had received my cashback claim, no complaints from me.0
