Thanks, will have a peek when I got time. Just filling out my template letters asking for copies of default charges to my credit card companies. Have got reply from Abbey already saying all cases are stayed, so gonna write see if I can push it along pleading hardship case. Thinking I might have a go at getting ppis back too.:D

Credit card charge cases aren't stayed - only bank charges:D

    Hi Jodan:hello:,

Just catching up with your thread after a couple of days working 12.5 hour shifts! You are doing really well. Get stuck into those PPI claims. A woman who posts on my thread just had her first success after only one letter - £5000!!!

Well done on your progress, keep us updated.

    Hi everyone.
Not much happening at the minute, only news today is that virtually every creditor sent out a letter saying thanks but tough luck regarding your situation (didn't expect anything else to be honest). Couldn't believe the amount of letters behind door when I got home from work. Some wanting more info, eg; who is dmp with (cccs) and what's account number? (not got a clue cause not received any paperwork yet). Lovely people at Capital One sent me an extra letter saying I'd been charged £24 for not paying minimum amount. Wait till they get letter I sent recorded today asking for list of charges going back 6 years. Lol.
Will keep sending nominal amounts until dmp comes which i can sign and send back.
Some are saying to ring them but cccs said not to as they would deal with it. Is it better to ignore their requests to ring? How long before dmp comes?
Stress levels are rising again, but will do best to remain calm.
Thanks again to those out there who are keeping an eye on me, totally appreciate your help. :kisses:

Don't phone them, they'll just try and bully you into paying more, they can be a lot nastier on the phone than in letters because there's no proof. Never talk to them on the phone is the usual advice on here.

Are you sure you don't have a CCCS number, I was given one as soon as I contacted them, even though in the end I didn't go with their advice.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

    Hi Jodan,
Glad to see things are getting going. From what I have read it tends to get worse (letters and calls) at first before things settle down.
Try to stay calm - you are making positive steps and it is tough if they don't like it.

Yes, the phone calls do increase whilst each company attempts to scare, bully, harass and squeeze as much money as possible out of it's victims before the DMP kicks in.
Black widow spiders have more compassion than these people.

Stick to the same simple answer everyime they ring.
"I'm with CCCS who will contact you." then hang up

Don't even give them chance to start their verbal diahorrea.

    Let CCCS deal with them.
