ballistic, you need to start your own thread on this.

if you signed an application form with Cap 1 in 2000, the chances of them having a legally complaint CCa are minimal.

have you got a default on the debt?

best thing is to get your post count up them post a link to a scan of the paperwwork.

Sorry I've not been around for a while, things been up the air for ages, what with work, chasing creditors for charges and ppi refunds it's been mad. Also had a granddaughter so she keeping me busy too. Have worked extra hard at getting money back off the banks so I can spend it on her instead of paying debts.
Have spoken to CCCS today to update them on all my recent PPI victories, all have refunded apart from Crappy Abbey, who won't stop charging interest on overdraft amount either. Pay £36 off and they put £16.50 back on in interest. All other creditors have now frozen interest as they have received correct amount agreed since November. All in all going quite well.
So the new total I now owe is £15551. Thats £6000 paid off in 8 months.
Best news is me and hubby are still together and stronger than ever, he has proven that I couldn't have asked for a better partner.
Good luck to you all and I'll make sure I come back at least once a week to help anyone if I can.
Thanks again to all on here who have helped (especially you, gargrave for giving me the courage to tackle this head on.)
Hugs and kisses to you all. XOXO

Hi, am hoping you've managed to get some help off others why I've been away. My3623 form was in my handwriting but all boxes for PPI extra had been marked no. I only claimed back the PPI as I knew I had paid this money involuntarily. I managed get £654 back in total (this also included charges they had taken), but to be honest I was glad to get any money knocked off my debts. I hope someone out there has been able to help you with your enquiry as I wasn't able to get the whole debt written off, but maybe you'll have more success. Good luck and let me know how it goes. x
