A photocopy is fine in response to a CCA request. Your signature is fine but an application form is not legally compliant nor is anything that says it is a CCA unless it contains all the prescribed terms.
I have seen one Cap 1 CCA on here that was legally complaint and a lot that are completely duff. Will try and find a few and link them in.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

:TI have to go but that means this CCA is unenforceable and you do not have to pay any more money.

Hi everyone (especially Gargrave),
had some good news today, Mbna have refunded me £1682.94 in PPI premiums. Plus £224 in late payment fees, that's almost £2000 off that debt. With that and my Barclaycard refund I have reduced my debt by £2186. I am over the moon. :j
Wow hun - take a look back at your first few posts. What a long way you have come:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
Looking to take on Capital One next as they keep saying no to everthing. Beginning to think if I asked them were they Capital One, they'd say no to that.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I don't doubt it - ask for it in writing :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I would never have had the courage to take on the banks if it hadn't been for all the people on here. You had the courage to go the full road Jodan - we just nagged you there!:rotfl::rotfl:
But a super big extra special thanks as to go to Gargrave, without her help and support I would never have seen it through, just knowing someone out there is looking out for you is great. Thanks Hun, your'e an inspiration to us all. X
Its my pleasure hun to watch your sucess. Fantastic progress - sometimes we all lose heart (I've done it a few times - AWOL for weeks:rolleyes:). RAS is very knowledgeable when it comes to CCA's (helped me out the black hole a few times as I recall:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:). Glad to hear you were able to get some help with Crapital 1. Keep in touch to let us know what rubbish they come up with next
. Stop payments to them immediately - or as soon as you have written to put the account into dispute as they have been unable to comply with your CCA request:D.

Hi all,
received 2 pieces of info today off the above crappy company. Hadn't even posted letter to them when I received firstly my default notice from them and secondly a letter dated 19th November saying CCCS hadn't paid this month's payment. What idiots are they, that they can't read plain instructions. CCCS take money from me on 1st of month and pay them on 25th. For those of us who know what day it is, surprise surprise it's the 25th. Think they musn't like me anymore. Not as much as when they get my next letter saying I'm not paying anything else to them.:DAugust 2009 - Debt free - August 2013

HI Jodan.....Just read through your thread
)
Glad you're doing Ok...(sort of)
I sent off for a SAR from Cap1 earlier this year as I was claiming back PPI that was mis-sold on the account, then about 2 weeks ago, I got a letter through the post containing a copy of my CCA?? Totally out of the blue?!! I didn't really take much notice of it, just popped it into a drawer, but having looked at the copy RAS has put on above, I'm now sat at work wondering if that's what mine looks like!!!!
Gonna check it out when I get home later...!
Keep up the good work hun.....we'll all get there in the end! ;o)
