  • No points here either...just gave TPF a ring and they're logging it as a 'concern'...meant to get a ring back next week. The lady was very pleasant and did actually ask if there was anything specific I had wanted them for (errr, hello? unless I was imagining things I'm fairly sure my ears were being blasted with christmas carols all day at work today)...anyway, as long as I get my points I don't mind, but a goodwill gesture wouldn't go amiss ;)

You guys seem to be under-achieving on the 'goodwill' front.

My Internet Saver closure problems in July resulted in a goodwill gesture of 3000 points (worth £120 on deals).

My Instant Access Savings Account points (1500) weren't added on my November statement. They paid me £60 'goodwill' now (because I'd intended to use them on a Tesco 4x deal) and will also put my 1500 points on my February statement.

    Negotiate harder!

After they've paid all that out to you, there's nothing left in the pot for them to pay us more!:p

I got the 250 points as a new customer to TPF but my wife, as an existing customer, has not got the 1500.

The £2.50 came as a seperate TPF voucher along with vouchers for the remaining spend.

My wife got a letter this morning from TPF saying her 1500 points were not credited due to a "system error", together with an apology and that the points will be in the Feb 2010 statement.

No offer of any compensation so it seems compensation is probably quite variable according to how much fuss you make.
  • It looks like I am going to have the same problem as many of you. I opened accounts for both my wife and myself back in August and on the 7th October both accounts showed a cleared balance of £10,001 (The benefit of a mortgage reserve account!). Now I have received my November clubcard statement and no points have been added whatsoever. My wife's has not arrived yet but on line it says she has not got the points either. I have rang this morning, first to clubcard who said the system was down and then to tpf who have took my number and have promised a call back by tomorrow at the latest. If they are not going to give me the 2 lots of 1500 points straight away then I too will be pushing for a 'goodwill' gesture as I wanted the points in time for Xmas. I will update here when I know more but it does seem that it depends on who you speak to.

Do we think the confirmation Dan received from Tesco PF during the recent promotion still applies to the latest/current one?
i.e. those with an existing Internet Saver are eligible for Clubcard points if we apply for an Instant Access Savings by 12th Nov?

Also, how much of the previous rigmarole (how could I ever forget it!) of the opening procedure is involved this time round, given that I already have an Internet Saver, thus have already gone through the signature thing, have online access and a card reader etc? Presumably there's a paper application to wait for, sign and return, but is that it or (almost can't bear to ask) is there yet more to it all over again?

In my experience as an existing Internet Saver account holder (from last promotion), I still had multiple forms sent to me requesting my signature. This time around though, didn't have to wait for card reader, PIN, and Internet Banking card as already had them, and was already registered for online banking. Still encountered problems trying to view it online for a short while though which necessitated phone calls.
  • Follow up call came through this morning (just as i arrived at hairdresser...typical)...they said the points will get credited on my february statement.

Then the lady mentioned the fact that it had been logged with my 'concern' that I had wanted the vouchers for xmas...asked me if there was a deal in particular I had been thinking of...I wasn't sure, and was rushing to get off the phone anyway. Supposedly writing to me now with this info and details to get in touch so that they can send me a voucher for the deal I wanted :D If it goes as it sounds, very reasonable Mr.T

Don't know what'll happen if I can't find something £40ish (1000pts)...tbh its likely they would have gone towards something bigger. Anyway, we'll see

I phoned clubcard and was told that TPF adds the points manually and that it always takes 6-8 weeks and therefore they would show in the February statement.

I think she was just trying to get rid of me.

Did you phone Tesco clubcard or TPF when you complained, YorkshireBoy?
