Just phoned to check and my points have gone on :j
    Thanks MSE :T
  • I don't understand. I have my 500 TPF points (from there being £1000 in the instant saver on the 7 Oct, + 65 more. I bought something in Tesco today so I have an upto date account c/o the till receipt.

But - I have just gone to check online and sure enough the 565 points are there, but it says they will be converted into £5.50 vouchers to be sent with the November statement. I thought that 500 points was supposed to earn £20

Those £5 of clubcard vouchers can either be used to buy £5 worth of stuff instore, online, or Tesco Direct, OR, what is better, to pay for CLUBCARD REWARDS when they are worth 4 time their value - £20
eg; your £5 voucher, could, when exchanged for a Reward Token give you £20 worth in Pizza Express.
Probably explained better in the LINKY HERE
  • Hello!
I have an 'Instant Access' savings account which has £1000 in it.
This amount was cleared by the original cut off date for Clubcard amounts - 7 October.
Can anyone please tell me what the original thresholds were for cleared deposits? I have a feeling that I haven't received the correct amount.
The current 'Loophole' article refers to a new set of deposit amounts and points totals and it may be that they are tring to impose these.

    Thanks in advance
    Bill

    £1 = 250 points
    £1,000 = 500 points
    £3,000 = 1000 points
    £10,000 = 1500 points
  • Hello 10_66

    Thanks for this!

I was convinced that I was due 1000 clubcard points 'cos I had £1,000 properly deposited by due date. You've saved me from embarrasing myself arguing for something I wasn't entitled to.

Perhaps I was confused by doubling and quadrupling etc.

Still, £20 (500 points when quadrupuled) for such a short while isn't too bad (is it?).
    Always leave 'em wanting more!

    Thanks again

    Bill

Here we go again with Tesco. Only one lot of points have gone onto Clubcard account (should be two as both husband and I took out accounts for the points). Rang TPF to ask if they could tell which account had not had points and they said they couldn't tell, but that you're only allowed one lot of points per Clubcard account! I told tell them that wasn't correct, and all they'd say was wait until November. I told them that's not correct either, as points should be added by 18 October for November statement. Was then told to ring Monday 19 October instead, so if I do find someone who knows what they're talking about at Tesco and the 2nd lot of points are added, they won't be on our November statement .

We applied before the deadline but for some reason it took them weeks to send out the account details, so were not in a position to pay a worthwhile balance in to get the points (only £1 opening balance). Does anyone know if we would now qualify for the new offer, or have we lost out due to the delay in getting information?

    Many thanks

I haven't had mine go on yet, but they're going to have to be quick if I'm to get them on my November statement because when I check my points online I see the following message...

"Any Clubcard points you have collected prior to 18th October will be converted into Clubcard vouchers and will arrive by 8th December"
Not there as of the 18th! (Yet another) formal complaint raised with TPF.

With 3,000 points (£120 in 'deals') awarded as 'goodwill' last time (Internet Saver closure problems) - and no doubt more to follow this time - I'm making more out of complaining than I'm getting in interest! :rotfl:
