same here, still no point yet, is there an email address I can write to??

    thanks
  • I just spoke to Tesco Instant Access Savings on the phone again (just after my last post about this, might be on another thread) and she said that the points will be on my November statement. When I said that my points were not shown when i log onto my Clubcard online, she said that it might be a few days before they go on there, but I will definitely get them on November statement.

She also confirmed that I could now withdraw all the money if I wishes and would not lose entitlement to the bonus points. I think I might wait though, until I get the points, just to be safe!
  • I still haven't gotten any extra points, is it worth calling them up? I have started using my savings account anyway so at least I'm getting something out of it anyway.

I had a phone call from Tesco Finance yesterday after I wrote to complain. They apologised and said she will add the points to my account but it's too late for the November statement and will instead show on my February statement.
  • If this offer (or similar) get repeated, can I only take advantage again by closing the instant access saver and being a new customer then again?

I also had a call from Tesco this week after I rang to complain. They apologised to me as well.

However, there ends the similarity, because they (the complaints team) told me that the points from the TPF promotion were not like ordinary spending points, and could indeed be manually added between the 18th October and the date in November the statements were produced.

So one of them was lying!

I was told the above too. Person I spoke to said my details would be put on a datebase for points to be added manually before November statement produced.

OK answered own question from Tesco Personal Finance website:

"This promotion is available to Clubcard customers and limited to one points offer per Clubcard. Offer not available on Internet Saver or to customers who have opened a Tesco Savings account in the last 12 months. Tesco Personal Finance reserve the right to cancel or withdraw the promotion at any time."

    An update...

Statement and clubcard vouchers arrived today, 28th October, but sadly (although entirely as expected) it was £1,500 points light.

Rang to let them know and found out they'd 'closed off' my original complaint when they rang me last week with the above explanation.

New formal complaint made, citing the above, and a call-back from their 'concerns' (I'll say!) team is scheduled for Friday.

Have been watching my clubcard balance for the last two weeks and nothing had been added.

Get home yesterday and find a new clubcard and a seperate statement waiting for me. The points hadn't been added to my existing clubcard account but a new account opened. On ringing I was told that the points could be transferred to my 'real' clubcard account but only after the November statement run has finished. So ring back in December.
