I can tell you that you get £53.97 (including VAT) credited to your account at the end of the 13th month. This is then applied to your bills over the next 3 months. See my post above for the rate they willl then offer. This is more straightforward and does not have any rebates or bonuses to confuse. I have a copy of the original T & C's which DO NOT mention anything about having to make a chargeable call to ensure you get the £15 per quarter credit and you can successfully challenge this if you were not originally told about it. Does anyone know of a better deal with a RELIABLE ISP, if not I think I will stay with Primus, although losing the caller display feature is a good pointto raise. I am pretty sure if you ditch BT you cannot get it.0

Just off the phone from Primus, my 12 months finished on the 18th August, and my 3 months free will be added to my account on the bill issued in September.
I also got an email with the new package being offered, the price on the email was £23.99, i also asked about 24/7 calls, and was quoted £29.99, the price of caller display, if i remember correctly is 65p a month.
Both are new 18 month contracts.
Signed up for the 24/7 call package, as the girlfriend works at night, and uses the phone thru' the day, and as i am not 100% sure about how Primus allows the likes of 18185 or not, the lad i spoke to at Primus did say that they do allow other pre-carriers, but knowing that BT are the only ones that have to, this was the reason that i went for the 24/7 package.
Now, waiting for a email with a pdf filled with all their pricing for 0845, abroad etc charges.0 -
Was the £15 rebate offer different to the one discribed on the first page of this thread?0

Just thinking about finishing with Pipex and rolling my phone line rental in to reduce the cost - but Talk Talk £16.39 appear to be cheaper than primus £23.99 (the talk talk 40 Gb limit is way above I would use so same as the Primus unlimited) Anybody thoughts on the pros cons of either Cheers SJ0

Just depends if you are willing to take the risk of being stuck into an 18 month contract with a provider who is known to offer to many a dreadfully poor broadband service. You never know however you maybe one of the lucky ones. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0

One of the themes running through this thread is strange billing but good service .Which can not be said in the talk talk threads and that to me would win it for primus and thats why after a 12 month stint i am staying with em0 -
OK cheers for that, prob do a bit more checking around but these look the firm favorites at the moment0
