    God its quiet !!!
Have looked through the entire new Argos book and hypothetically spent a fortune !!!!!
I now really want to redo Jasmines bedroom and my sitting room, and replace all the accessories in the kitchen !!

DH didn't bring one back from town, so I can't look at it yet. Will see if we can pick one up tomorrow instead.
Sending lots of writey vibes MFD.

My baby rolled over! OH & I were sat on the sofa eating lunch, and Tobes was on the mat in front of us. He rolled over from back to front! Think he was a bit scared by the clapping and 'well dones' he got. A little later on he rolled from front to back!

    Go Toby!

I meant to say we have a new not-a-baby-toy to play with. DH came back from the supermarket with a melon, so today the best game has been rolling it around the floor :)

Benjamin likes remote controls  typical man!! I gave him the one to the DVD recorder (that we never use!) so he wouldn't keep changing channel on us!

I forgot to say that I went to see neicey and great neice yesterday and took a box of neutral things Benjamin has grown out of and other useful bits and bobs...one of which was the small swim nappies (not many places do the really small ones). Neicey said 'oh that's great cos we were gonna go swimming on Sunday '

Great Neice will be 12 days old - am I being an old fuss-pot saying she needs to leave it a bit longer so baby is a bit stronger? She is still a screwed-up little dot at the moment! I think I persuaded her to leave it for a bit.

Hubby was ready to ring his sis and tell her to get on a plane back home when I told him (bit of an over-reaction!).

As an aside, how small is really small?

Can't really comment on the rest - mine's still a wee small dot! :o

LOL - maybe not that small - but it's different, Rhys can hold his head and is 10 weeks older and more experienced IYSWIM (well, you know what I mean!)

Boots are the only place I found that do the Extra Small - they are 7-13lbs. But just because your baby is over 7lbs doesn't mean that they are ready for the swimming pool!
Edit: and just because they are under 7lbs doesn't necessarily mean that they are not ready to swim (digging hole deeper!!)

Currently on sale in Boots at £4.00

LOL - which means Benjamin won't fit into them any more anyway!!

 I don't know about a 12 day old baby but I wouldn't fancy going swimming 12 days after giving birth. I couldn't have gone for nearly 8 weeks anyway because of the lochia. I don't think I could have fitted in a swim in between naps and feeding at that age as there wasn't even that much time. (Even when I finally got around to taking Alice swimming at 8 months it was a push to be out and changed and feeding her and that was with both journeys being during her usual naptime.)

Just googled and Babycentre suggests waiting till you've had your 6 week check.

I think they suggest you leave swimming till after 6 weeks because of the bleeding... you shouldn't use tampons so if you're potentially still bleeding then you can't swim (yuck!) and even if you're not bleeding then it could still get infected... I certainly wouldn't have wanted to risk getting an infection down there!

Just back home - DH had his tattoo done today (at last!) and it's looking very cool :) bigger and higher up than I thought it would be but he's chuffed with it so that's all that matters :)
